Knights fixed roster for lineup glitch

stupid ass titles
based on the lack of discussion on this, most of you may not know about the lineup glitch in season/franchise mode. This is a glitch where the CPU has players incorrectly placed in the lineups. Like cleanup hitters at #1 and lead off guys at #4...shit like that

anyway, knight at OS made adjustments to ratings to make the cpu lineups remain correct thru the season. its still in a test phase, but everything looks solid as far as stats go.

Note: This file has adjustments made for MLB players. NO MINOR LEAGUE players have been touched in his file

It's in the roster vault. I just downloaded it. Tried it in Franchise and everything looks good. If you downloaded other updates it would make Youk the 2nd hitter in Boston's lineup, but this one has Youk where he should be. Everything looks good.

his adjustments here are from the 3/4/09 roster that sony released online. as with any roster, once you start your season you will have to make your own adjustments regarding FA's. He will have a more complete roster for you to DL that will include full minor league names. That wont be ready until mid april though. This is just something for people who dont want to wait.

This lineup glitch is new for 2009 and this file is really a test with the ratings he changed to make sure the lineups hold thru the season. the last thing i want to see is a clean up hitter leading off.

The hope is that SCEA releases a patch soon that will fix this lineup issue and the cubs playing all their games at night (except sunday games)

NOTE....when u unzip this file it will be in a folder called Knght test 3. Open that folder and drag the folder called PS3 on to your zip drive.......then follow the instructions below


When MKs roster is released he will have it posted on sendspace. There will be instructions that come with the roster, however, as we are getting a lot of questions, here's how you do it.

MK has been uploading it on sendspace in a PS3 folder IN A ZIP FOLDER.

Download the zip file to your desktop. Open the zip folder and download the PS3 file to your desktop.

You now have the roster file on your desktop. It simply says PS3.

DON'T OPEN IT, DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING AROUND. COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. DON'T EVEN LOOK IN IT OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR LIBRARY CARDS. LOCUST WILL ALSO CARRY OFF ANY ANIMALS THAT YOU LOVE.

1. Put your thumb drive (I have a CRUZER MINI) in a USB port of your PC.

2 Take this FOLDER (PS3) that is on your desktop and send it to your thumb drive.

3. Take the thumb thingy and put in a USB port on the front of your PS3.

4. Without the game playing you will see the PS3 panel with a whole bunch of stuff. You should see a game controller icon and the word GAME. Just above that is a FOLDER icon that says SAVED DATA UTILITY.

5. Go up to the SAVED DATA UTILITY folder and click Xon your controller. It will open.

6. You will probably see a bunch of Show files that you have saved (franchises/rosters, etc)
Ignore these and go up to USB DEVICE.

7. Click X and your USB DEVICE will open.

8. A window will open with an animation and it will say something like THE SHOW and will have the date and the name of MKs roster. This is what you want to copy to your hard drive.

9. Click on the TRIANGLE button of your controller and this will open another window.

10. You will see COPY. Click on COPY and it will copy this roster to your hard drive.

YOU ARE DONE. YOU ARE HAPPY! YOU ARE THRILLED! YOU WILL PLAYBALL!!!

Start your game, go to the GAME MODE screen and click on FRANCHISE. It will ask you if you want to use the CURRENT/DEFAULT/SAVED roster. Click on SAVED. It will show you this roster. Load that one and you are ready to go.

If you want to just play an exhibition game go to the HDD screen and click on LOAD and load the roster.

yeah and he used the mar 4th roster as his base with the messed up historical stats. so when he starts his complete file he will probably do this all over again with a more updated file.

of course todays patch may resolve the stat glitch on any file. who knows. i wish Sony would have just purchased the rights to the minor leaguers as well and named them all
 
Yea, I'd suggest just waiting until he gets his Full Minors out which he will use based off the default rosters (with the correct stats) and the lineup glitch fix as well before starting your real franchise.
