The Bulls need a SG, but Korver is more of a swimgman but they needed someone who could shoot the 3.

Around 5 million a year isn't bad really. You figure Chris Duhon got over 4 and Mike Miller got around 6. If anything I think they got a bit a discount.

Brad Miller can be the backup center provided he re-signs and doesn't go to the Heat and the Bulls have a 7'0 Euro player coming over in Omer Asik who could be the backup. The Bulls are interested in Shaun Livingston to be the backup PG and they also want to re-sign Acie Law, and I really hope the Bulls sign Childress or Ronnie Brewer to play 2 guard.

We won't have enough after we're done with this offseason. Not many expiring deals either. So we're pretty well out of the Melo sweepstakes.

If Redick is retained by the Magic, then right now they have $13 million to spend. I doubt Carmelo comes to Chicago because I don't see him leaving Denver. He'd be an idiot to turn down their offer w/ a possible lockout coming

Korver is my favorite NBAer. He's going to hit open shots and that's the only thing that Chicago was really missing. They could use a little more size up front but I would say that they're my front runner for the #3 seed next year after the Heat and Orlando.

You're forgetting that the previous year's 3 seed returns its entire team :smug:


Nah, jk, great off-season so far by Chicago, they needed shooters in the worst way and they got two of the best in Redick and Korver. They needed more help in the low post and they got Carlos Boozer.

Very promising off-season for the Bulls.
