League Settings and roster size

First of all I pushed the draft date back to the 5th at 10:15 PM eastern because we still need 1 owner and not everyone has paid, and we shouldn't get started till everything is in order.

This is our current setup.

C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, CI, MI, OF, OF, OF, Util, Util, RP, RP, P, P, P, P, P, P, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, DL, DL, DL, NA, NA, NA

Total of 30 active spots, 3 DL, and 3 N/A spots to stash prospects in.

You typically see Corner Infield and Middle Infield in these type of leagues. The NA slots are basically only for Minor Leaguers, when they are called up they lose their NA designation and you have to move them to an active roster spot. I would like to have 2 required Relief Pitchers as well, would like to hear your guys thoughts on this.

As far as scoring here is our current settings:

We could go slightly more advanced like Caught stealing is -1, GIDP -.5, K is -0.25 or whatever.

Please post your comments on what you guys think we should change as far as the roster build and scoring settings. We have another 9 days roughly so we can do a couple votes if we can't decide on something.

Are we rewarding grand slams just because it's a big deal? Seems like the 9 points you already get for the grand slam are enough. My .02 cents

I dont like wins being worth 10 while a quality start is 5. Cycle should be worth more cause its such a rarity. Other than that, i like it.

I am on the same page as lefty on wins being 10 points. I would almost rather a quality start be worth more than a win. Sucks to see your SP effort go to waste when the bullpen shits the bed or SP only gives up 1 and offense gets shutout. Cycles should also be worth more as lefty said.

Also like idea of negative points for gidp.

This is what we used in the AL Only league here last year. What do you guys think of this?
