Is there really a thread for this absolutely piece of shit of an album that they call music? Leaked on the web last month sometime, listened to the whole thing (regrettably) and it's absolutely horrible in my opinion. Hell, the "best" song on the album is "Drop The World" and that's prob cause Em saves it somewhat. Wayne should stick to rap (and even then I'm not a big fan of his, only got a select few songs).
 
When did he win the best rapper alive competition? Or did he give himself the title and all of his minions convince themselves everytime they hear him?

Meh. Mostly just by people who listen to Lil Wayne as 90% of their hip-hop consumption.

He's extremely overrated in my mind and the minds of anybody who listens to a wide range of hip-hop or music.

I prefer my rappers to actually flow with a beat or have consistent themes in their raps not raps consisting of a bunch of nonsensical punchlines.

If Lil Wayne was so horrible, then he wouldn't have all these artists wanting to work with him.

You can't say that I only listen to Lil Wayne. I listen to everyone: Jay-Z, Eminem, Gucci Mane, Drake, Lil Boosie, Young Jeezy, Ludacris, Kid Cudi, etc. In fact, 80% to 90% of the rap music I listen to isn't Lil Wayne.

I'm not pissed off, angry, peeved, etc. I was just wondering why you guys spent some much time on this.

Think about it, 90% of Lil Wayne's fans are young women and it's "good" club music apparently. His voice is just fucking annoying after awhile. Why do other big rappers appear on his songs? Simple, mo money. Not to mention all those rappers you listed are all mainstream. Out of what you listened, I'd say Em & Luda (and most would say Jay-Z, but I'm not his biggest fan) are good. Kid Cudi's got his few songs (he's one of those guys you love or hate, especially here at VSN).

And like you stated in your last post, if you woulda realized that awhile back you wouldn't of even made this thread. In fact, if you actually woulda done the slightest bit of research, you could of found out yourself when this album dropped. Saving yourself the time of arguing.
