Grayd jackson, DT who just signed with the Lions, was on the radio and was mentioning how he enjoyed the "new colors and picture" and on the Lions website, there store is having 50-80% off on all merchandise, most likely trying to get rid of all old ones to replace it with the new.

The Detroit Lions have been very secretive about their plans for the draft and free agency, but they're being just as coy about their plans to change the team uniforms and logo.

However, veteran defensive tackle Grady Jackson, during a radio interview Monday night, let something out of the bag.

Jackson, who recently signed as a free agent and probably didn't realize the Lions wanted to keep their new uniforms and logo a secret for awhile, made a comment about how he liked the Lions' new look, including a remark that he liked the "new colors.'' This morning, I contacted a Lions official who wouldn't say a word about the possibility of new uniforms or logo but it appears unlikely the team would change its colors.

Meanwhile, the Lions' official online store is having a blowout sale to clear out all of their remaining gear with the old logo. Some items are marked down 80 percent. With the old stuff gone, the Lions are going to need to stock those empty shelves with new merchandise. The question now is: How soon will they unveil it?

The Lions have a news conference scheduled for this afternoon with coach Jim Schwartz, but I was told it has nothing to do with the uniforms and logo.

The Lions should mark down all their merchandise for the fact they were the worst team in NFL history last season.
 
Wow, this is the time for me to get all my Lions jerseys..

It'll be weird to see a different logo cause that's what i've been used to since day 1.
 
I wonder if their thinking they can be like the rays, they got new uniforms and logo and look how they did. But they also took the wood devil out of their name the Lions can't lol

I do too, it's their really old jerseys, i wish they'd go back to that,
but if they're changing colors,
it better not be like green or purple or something,
it'll have to be either a different color blue and yellow, idk.

This will be so weird for me, hopefully they're not too stupid.
