I don't really blame LT, even though he is wrong.

Football is a competitive sport. I'm sure LT knows where he is in the world of running backs today, but if someone asks him if he's the best, he should be saying yes. As a running back, especially a high-caliber one, you should hold that mindset each season and look to defend that position every year.

And I don't want to pull out the "He's a respectable guy" card because I don't know him personally, but I'm sure he was at least a little bit sarcastic when answering this question. I don't think he would out right say that knowing it'd cause a mini-controversy.

With 70 less carries LT had 1 more TD last year.

Ive seen too many key situations in games where both of them have been on the sidelines. AD because of being taken out , LT because of injuries.

Anyways AD is explosive but needs to learn to protect the ball , and protect his body , be more convincing and consistent on his routes, and learn to pickup a blitz. Tomlinson is a douche who may have hit a wall.

Emmitt/Curtis Martin both had great season after 30 so Im not writing off LT.

The money is on AD/AP because of his age and explosiveness.
