Madden 13 lag issues....

Is it me or are these games laggy. In all the games I've played, 80% has been laggy. The other 20% has been random game with no lag. Not once in a community match, I've play a clean lag free game. I went from wireless to wire connection and still the same problem. Has anyone else experience this? Do you think its a community issue?

Windy= skip lag
Staylor =skip lag
Virix = Laggy
DSGB= Good Connection


When you cant control ur men on tackles and user catching then u have a problem.

Thats the thing....the slow downs....they wont drop but they are awful. Ive called my ISP and they said nothing is wrong with my internet.

Theres definitely some issues. I was starting to wonder if it was caused by me having the digital download version instead of the disc. My connection is great, 28 down 12 up consistently, and it runs perfect on the 360 version. The PS3 version is absolutely terrible for me.

Anybody that is having problems needs to check both of these websites and post their results in this thread-

pingtest.net - This one is more IMPORTANT than any other test. Make sure that you have any bit torrents or porn downloading stopped while you are running it. Better yet, even reboot your modem (and router if they are separate devices) before you run it and post the results.

speedtest.net - This one will give you a good idea of the throughput your ISP is really getting to servers on the Internet. Try a couple of them and you will notice that your throughput varies. This is because your ISP will have different levels of connectivity with other major providers.

Lastly, you can always go old school and do a traceroute to EA's server farm. Open up a command shell and type in "tracert 159.153.234.54" at the C:\ prompt. It takes me 11 hops and 68ms roundtrip to get to their servers. That's plenty good for online gaming.

not always true.
if somebody else has bad connection; my connection with online gaming is only as good theirs will be.......

both parties need to be solid which is most of the time here with you MFers.
just the select few dont..........
