I havent heard anything. I figured there wouldn't be one with the new EA Access program but I'm probably wrong.

You could be right. Early access seems like a cool idea, but I'm just going to wait. I have both systems, but have it on preorder for the PS4 and know I can wait 5 extra days. Just figured they would release a demo with play now, since with early access you get everything. If we don't see one on Tuesday i think we wont see one at all.

His source was in the chat box on the CFM live stream so it wasn't very reliable.

I think there will still be a demo but more on the 19th instead of 12th since it was a little later going gold this year due to the shortened development schedule.

If they are sticking to the same schedule they did last year it will be Tuesday, the 12th. It was released on Tuesday the 13th last year, 2 weeks before it was released on the 27th. Game comes out the 26th this year, the 12th will be 2 weeks before the release date.

Last year, EA announced the demo on 8/6 and it was available on 8/13. I'd be surprised (pleasantly) if they rolled out the demo on Tuesday with no advance press release. It makes more sense that if there is a demo, it will be announced on the 12th and come out on the 19th. The game went gold a little later this year because of the shortened development cycle for Madden 15 after working into October for Madden 25 on next gen.

EA confirmed a few moments ago that there will be no demo for Madden 15. The only way to play the game early is to have an Xbox One and subscribe to EA Access.

and it begins. People thinking this is a bad move...I doubt it. Until there is a competitor or the NFL no longer rules, there is no need to put out a demo and possibly hurt any potential sales.

ie, the quality of the game sucks, again, and we don't want you to realize that until after you purchased the full game.

Was on the fence, count me out now. Another year with no good football title. Not shocking though.

There will definitely be a day one patch. The game had to go to certification and manufacturing about 3 weeks ago. The Q&A team has been working long hours since then to finalize the day one patch that likely needs to be submitted to Sony and Microsoft by early next week.
