MIAMI -- The Miami Heat have re-signed center Jamaal Magloire.
Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Magloire played in 36 games for Miami last season and averaged 2.1 points and 3.4 rebounds coming off the bench.
The native of Toronto has spent the last two seasons with the Heat, playing 91 games, including 12 as a starter.
"Re-signing Jamaal is a testament to his work ethic and his desire to win," said Heat president Pat Riley. "Over the past two seasons in Miami, he has been an asset to this team, in terms of being a role model for our younger players, with his professionalism and his strong locker room presence."
During the course of his 10-year career with Charlotte, New Orleans, Portland, Milwaukee, Dallas, New Jersey and Miami, the 32-year-old pivotman has averaged 7.7 points and 6.7 boards per game.
Magloire was originally selected by the Hornets with the 19th overall pick of the 2000 draft after a standout collegiate career at Kentucky.
