This was the guy I wanted, I thought for sure Spags would be his usual conservative, faggot self and hire another ultra conservative dipshit WCO no name who he could control on gameday like Shurmur. Amendola is a great slot receiver, and Gibson is a decent possession guy. Laurent Robinson is a FA and will not be back.
I think with Donnie Avery coming back, and Alexander with a full training camp (remember, he was coming off knee surgery and would have been one of the first WR's off the board otherwise), the Rams will be able to stretch the field much better next year. Gilyard is the darkhorse, but I think he's a lost cause. They need to find another guy, whether it's bringing back Clayton, or drafting someone, but it doesnt need to be a deep threat because I think Avery & Alexander will be OK.
