According to Dave Meltzer of Yahoo! Sports/Wrestling Observer, Brock is currently looking for an "exit strategy" from the UFC.

Meltzer said on his radio show that the fight with Velasquez has changed Brock's attitude on fighting and he is at the stage in his life where he doesn't want to get injured. He's very well off financially and the business man in him apparently knows that it may be time to move on.

Meltzer also mentioned that Brock hasn't trained a single day since the Velasquez fight nor he has returned any phone calls to Dana or Zuffa about upcoming matches.

Dave pointed out if Brock was motivated, he would be right back in the gym training and bringing in new coaches with the goal of beating Cain yet he isn't doing that. He's hunting and hasn't even thought about his next fight. Lesnar apparently wants to do WrestleMania "badly" and will earn an estimated 2 million dollars for 30 minutes of work.

Everything is pointing towards Brock having one more fight and ending his contract. His head doesn't seem to be in the fighting game and it looks like it was just yet another successful business move.

Dana needs to carefully choose a good young fighter who can beat Brock convincingly, and build a second star off of him.

He should also just let him do something non physical at Wrestlemania, just to make him happy so they can get that final fight booked.

The fact is, Brock hasn't spoken to Dana White since the loss and does not appear ready to fight anytime soon.

It's no secret he wants to work the WM angle and earn the millions for a night's work without getting punched in the face. Dana is against it for obvious reasons.

Whether Brock will still be a MMA fighter in 2012, anyones guess.

But Rob, you didn't "tell" me anything I didn't already know. Brock has a history of this shit.

Misleading headline as nobody knows whether Brock is looking to get out of MMA. He hasn't spoken to anyone safe for probably Heyman and his wife, perhaps his coaches.

When he gets bored or things don't go his way, he just packs up his shit and goes.

He is on a path to become one of the biggest wastes of talent in several areas that I've ever seen...olympic wrestling, pro wrestling, football, and MMA, and even business...(yeah, he makes good money now, but he could have made so much more at every level he's been at).

It's an interesting debate. Brock could have been one of the biggest pro wrestling stars ever had he stayed. But the lifestyle and fear of it breaking down his body scared him off.

I think he could have made a surprisingly solid NFL player had he chose to take the Vikings advice and play in NFLE to develop his raw skills. Instead, he wanted to make money.

In MMA, he has made a shitload of money and became the UFC champion (and first ever man to hold both the WWE & UFC titles). Whether he decides to walk away within the next year or two...the man is 33 years old and I don't know her but I can only imagine his wife likes the finer things in life. Brock meanwhile could live off the land and be a happy sonofabitch.

I assume he has saved his money well enough, but I'm going to guess he finishes out his UFC contract, walks away and tries to go back to WWE as a "special attraction."

I don't see him willing to go back on the road full time, which makes you wonder...if he does walk away from MMA...what's left for Brock Lesnar elsewhere besides part time pro wrestling?

Assuming he is done with UFC, he can fight once per year in Japan destroying cans, he would be a huge attraction there and they would pay him well. He can also do sporadic prowres matches in Japan, just like he did in between his football career and doing MMA. Strikeforce will call him for sure, but I doubt he would go, because if he wants to fight he'll just stay with Dana. He has a book coming out this year, so that will keep him busy.

He isn't someone who needs the spotlight, and definately doesn't need money. He's a ccrafty businessman who understands how to draw money, and then he doesn't spend it. He doesn't even have cable or internet at home. Wouldn't shock me if he dropped off the planet, but it will be hard to turn down the big money promoters will throw at him.

Brock said all along that he considered himself a prize fighter, and it was all about making money and getting out in one piece. And here we are.

What Brock disliked about prowres was the insane travel and schedule. Those guys are literally never home.

As far as MMA, nobody else can afford him. He is accustomed to those huge PPV bonuses. His best bet is the occassional freakshow fight in Japan, especiially if he has no passion and just wants easy paydays at this point.

Stepping in a cage with Couture, Carwin, Cain, etc were not "easy paydays". I believe Brock had a passion for fighting, but if he doesnt anymore, he can still take freak fights in Japan and make big money, without hard training or the mental work. That's what I meant.

He makes millions each fight. He probably makes well into six figures with sponserships alone. He'd make a lot less in the WWE, especially since he will never go back on the road. And it would be harder on him physically than fighting.

Lesnar draws over a million PPV buys every time he fights. He is one of two men (Mike Tyson being the other) to draw two 1M+ buyrates in the same calendar year. He is arguably the third best PPV draw of all time as a MMA fighter (behind Tyson & De La Hoya, probably behind PBF too but its arguable).

As a wrestler, he probably never even drew 500k (i'd have to look it up), and most definately never drew over a million. He was a top guy and main eventer, but was never the clear cut top guy or monster draw. Don't get me wrong, he was a solid main eventer. Yes, I believe he would be a bigger draw in 2010 as opposed to 2002.

And dont get me wrong, he was a good draw. Just not as good as people remember, or think they remember, due to his moster success in MMA in that regard.
