Probably officially announced tomorrow. Thank God it wasn't McCoy. Also, very high chance Matt Flynn will be our QB next year.
 
My guess is that if Miami doesn't get Flynn, that means they didn't try hard, because Philbin knows whether he was the real deal or not and deserves the chance.

Talk Winston Moss and/or Kevin Greene could be coming with him.
 
Thanks for the memories Philbon. No idea how he'll do as a head coach, but the guy knows how to get the most out of his players.

If he does not constantly fist pump on pointless plays, to include going for many field goal chances, and doesn't wear sunglasses 24/7, then I'll be happy.

Jermichael Finley may be a free agent too.........yeah, I'd be hard: Flynn, Reggie Bush, BMarsh, Davone Bess, Jermichael. Ross will dish out the money if need be, the problem is getting them to come south.

Find my posts saying I was a confident Packer fan last week. I went to the game but was far from confident. But that's not what this thread is about.

I really don't think Philbin is the kind of guy that would poach all of McCarthy's best coaches. I also don't see guys like Kevin Greene leaving GB to have the same job in Miami. I've heard that the guy that is most likely to go will be Edgar Bennett the WR coach.

I loved Edgar as a player and even an RB coach. But please Miami, please take him from us.
 
Please, Dolphins, and Raiders too, take GB defensive coaches. It was the worst unit in the league this year outside of New England and it sure as fuck wasnt due to lack of talent.

The league lost Art Shell 2.0 when Caldwell was fired ; The league gained Childress 2.0 with Philbin as HC. He doesn't call the plays, McCarthy does almost all of the offensive planning, and even if you do want to give him some credit for Green Bays offensive success, he has to take some blame for their failures too ; dropped balls have been a problem for a long time now in Green Bay.

Good luck in 3 years when the Dolphins are hiring a new coach.
 
I thought Moore played pretty well in his time. 13-11 record when he receives majority of snaps on sub par teams (panthers and dolphins over past 5 seasons)
 
Worst field of coaching candidates ever. Miami said all season they wanted a big name head coach, and they settle for this crap. Should have just kept Tony Spanaro or the interim Todd Bowles, and tried to get another coach next year.

Also, Philbin looks like he has AIDS:
