Microsoft E3 Rumors

Gamespot posted a rumor article that linked to some high ranking "game journo" twitter feed that apparently had a bunch of SPOILERS for the upcoming xbox 360 e3 keynote conference.
Some of the highlights:

-XBOX 360 motion sensor camera controller Xbox Fluid
-Top Secret Konami exclusive title
-The second intallment of the GTA IV exlusive DLC, Blood and a Four Leaf Clover, which may spin off of that unreal "Heat" style bank heist mission from the main game, Three Leaf Clover.
-A new game from Lionhead Studios (guys who made Fable II)
-Forza 3
-Finally some extendand footage of Alan Wake, which sounds like a cross between Misery and The Shining
-Halo ODST, BioShock 2, Assassin's Creed 2, new Splinter Cell, and Lost Planet 2
-The still long running rumor that Microsoft will close out the show by bringing up Kojima to announce a 360 port of Metal Gear Solid 4. This would sort of mirror the move Microsoft did last year with Final Fantasy 13, and may also be linked to some mysterious game announcement coming monday from Kojima Productions.

It's stupid to try and pursue that technology. Why be the "second" one to do it, you know what I mean? While it may be better overall technology, focus on what you can do better than Nintendo instead of trying to yank some of their niche audience, which will NOT happen.

How many times have they tried it and outside of the Wii it has NEVER caught on.

The Eye Toy was a complete bomb, the Power Glove... are you kidding?

People don't really care about that stuff, especially not people that own 360s and PS3s, most want to chill on their couch, bed or seat and play games. I don't want to be jumping up and down playing NBA 2k9 that does nothing for me.

I think Kojima posted some picture as a "teaser" and it definitely had a ZoE feel to it.

Yeah, they're trying to pull in the casual crowd. Nothing wrong with that, because they won't go the Nintendo route and alienate their hardcore fanbase.

I don't think the casual crowd will go over though, most are stuck in the Wii and Nintendo. Microsoft has tried to get the casual crowd and I have to admit, working at a game store, I don't think it's worked at all. In the Movies, Trivia Pursuit, Scene It, etc. haven't really made a splash yet.

Honestly, I'm interested to see how Nintendo's next generation goes, they brought in these groups of game players but will they stay or were they just in for the gimmick of the Wii.

Im so glad MS didnt use Analog thumbsticks , vibrating controls , and wireless controllers. Its stupid to "steal" from other successful systems !


Im pretty sure last E3 it was all about interactive movie games , family fun game night ,NXE super Avatar fun dashes and Gears of War 2.
Well Dont know a single person who does the movie or family fun night if they even came out. The new dashboard is slow as all fuck and most people dont bother navigating it using the "old" guide instead. Gears of War 2 was a bug ridden lag fest online requiring 3 updates before it was truly playable.

I love that MS avoid all the stupid "future" talk like other companies and focuses on whats coming THIS year. But if you cant deliver on that whats the point ?

All the triple AAA titles have been released , the console war is pretty clear as to whos winning what. I dont see or know of any new IPs or interactive devices that would seem at all "new". I think we're going to hit a lull this year.

None of those are niches like motion controls. They are completely uncomparable.
