Mike Vick Has Concussion

Vick could still get clearance for the Giants game next week, but if he doesn't...it's either VY or Kafka.

I'm expecting Vick to make it back in time.

Sucked to see friendly fire, hope he can get back quickly. Great to see the Falcons win though. Kafka was solid for a short spell but they are in trouble if they are forced to rely on him to win a game.

Kafka looked great. Poise in the pocket, put nice touch on his balls, moved the chains.

Obviously you lose something in the run for your life/broken play department, which has saved the Eagles ass on many a third down in both of their games, but Kafka really showed me something in his quarter and a half of play.

Vick was getting absolutely punished this game, Eagles would have been lucky to get out of it with him intact but they weren't that. Brutal he bit his tongue as he took a hit and then friendly fire. Hope to see him back quickly

No....the o-line was terrible in McNabb's last couple seasons with the team, Kolb's tenure and Vick's time as well. The bigger problem is that the entire game, Vick was getting clobbered with late hits, but not one call was made until he got hurt and on Kafka's 3 snap of the game, when Abraham gently pushes him.

If they have that rule in to protect the QB, than that should be called for all QBs, this would have never happened if the refs had laid the law down in the first qtr to make the d-players think twice before coming in late constantly and laying the wood on Vick.

The play he got concussed on quite possibly would have been worse, if he hadn't run into Herremans. Watch it, Vick throws the ball, Moore takes a step after jumping over a cut block and twists him around. If Herremens isn't there than Vick would have been slammed straight into the turf, which IS a penalty.

Watch it, Vick throws the ball, Moore takes a step after jumping over a cut block and twists him around. If Herremens isn't there than Vick would have been slammed straight into the turf, which IS a penalty.

It looked like William Moore let up, I doubt he was going to slam Vick into the turf.

Citing a team source, Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer reports that Michael Vick's concussion is "slight."
NFL Network's Marc Stein also reported that Vick was in good enough spirits and condition to shower with his teammates, and make the team flight home after the game. Per Stein, the Eagles are "not sure" whether Vince Young (hamstring) is ready to play yet. While it's good news that Vick wasn't visibly groggy, he'll still need to pass the typical baseline concussion tests required to play after this injury. He's very much 50:50 to start against the Giants.

On the play Vick got hurt Williams got there literally a split second(if that) after Vick threw the ball. And Williams wasn't really whipping him into the ground Vick just knocked helemets with an OLineman.

Missed penalties my ass.
