Albert Pujols has dominated the award this decade, winning three of the last five years, and each of the last two. Just when we were getting ready to rename it the Pujols Award, his team collapsed around him. With the Cards out of contention, this became a very wide open field. Albert may have to part with his award for at least one year, despite leading the league in home runs and RBI.
