Most impressive kick ?

Simple question...which kick was most impressive ?

I would love to say #1 but it wasnt a KO. The circumstances were more impressive seeing it was late in the 5th round.

Silva was just wtf out of the blue. Machida was some weird combo of the two where it was both out of nowhere and straight out of a movie.

If Pettis KO's Ben Hen with that, its EASILY #1, not even close.. and even still its a tough call. Machida's is a much cooler version of Anderson's, and also sent a great into retirement .

Definitely agree w/ Kuzzy as to if Pettis' showtime kick ends the fight then and there, hands down, best of all-time.

It's still tremendous, but they each have their own factor that makes them specifically awesome.

-Pettis' the first of its kind, in such a clutch moment. Final WEC fight ever for the WEC belt, in the final round, needing to take the round to secure the win. Lands it perfectly, knocking Bendo down.

-Silva's fight was one of the biggest of the year, so much hype, after walking around for a few minutes, out of nowhere, boom.

-Machida's came on one of the biggest shows ever, in Couture's final fight, in the second round after almost no action in the first. Set it up nicely, jumped into it and boom.

Hard to choose which was best.

Imma go with the Silva kick because that was pure speed and power, and took out someone with a good chin.

Pettis, wasnt a KO, but it pretty much won him the fight if I remember correctly, plus it was in the 5th round when most guys cant even throw a leg kick anymore

Front kicks happen all the time in karate/kickboxing, both great, but Pettis ran up the damn cage

Pettis is definitely the coolest.. but best pertaining to a strike would usually imply a KO, no?

you know I never knew segal was a real full-blown martial artist as his movies seemed too cheesy for him to be that good of a kung fu guy, but looking at some of his old clips he looks badass. I have gained a lot of respect for him

thats why i think silva's was the best. a lot of hype and shit talking going into the fight, with once again the guru's here at VSN proclaiming silva was gonna lose and as quick as the fight began, it was over with that ridiculous kick.

it's too close to call which was the best. i think that i would lean toward pettis just because of the innovativeness of the kick. they are all spectacular though
