Most Improved Player

I'm guessing Wade will probably get it. Devin Harris is a contender too, but Wade has evolved into a complete superstar after a career plagued with injuries.
 
He won't win it or even be mentioned but Sergio Rodriguez has stepped up his game this year big time in Portland. He was surrounded by trade rumors for the longest time and for a while there the Blazers seemed like they were ready to give up on him. Him and Rudy are incredibly exciting to watch out there on the floor together.

Wait since when do we give guys who were already amazing players Most Improved?

My vote goes to Devin Harris or Jameer Nelson if he hadn't have gotten hurt. Marvin Williams deserves mention as well.
 
My homer pick would be Mo Williams, already good in Milwaukee, but he wasn't this good. Proof that LeBron makes the guys around him better. On a non-homer pick I agree with Mike, Rodriguez has improved his game so much, and he plays with so much passion and excitement.
 
I don't get why people make it seem as if LeBron James is making Mo Williams so much better. Plus a point, minus some assist and a lower FG% Williams' averages are pretty much the same as they were in Millwuakee. If anything playing in Cleveland only has given Williams more exposure, but not necessarily made him better,.

The MIP should go to Devin Harris.
 
Since it's an individual award I guess Harris should get it. He doesn't know what the word 'team' means though. Yes, he gets 7 assists per game, but those who watch the Nets games should know what I mean.

But we already knew he was arguably better than Kobe and LeBron. He has been in the discussion since the 06 Finals, and he got injured, big deal. After the Olympics, after everyone saw he was fully fit again, we (most intelligent people anyway) put him right back where he was, among the best in the game.

No need to hop more on top of his nutsack and give him Most Improved, when he was already top 5 in the league, LOL.

Seriously, what jump impresses more, jumping from around 5 in the league to top 2, like Wade has done, or jumping from mid 50s to top 20 like Devin Harris did this year, for example?

Devin Harris is the only correct answer. Jameer would've been arguable if he stayed healthy. Mo Williams was already a baller, but we'll see how the voters feel about that.

Millsap would've been a good pick if he didnt fall off the face of the earth in the 2nd half of the season.

People dont remember, but Troy Murphy was putting up similar numbers in Golden State when healthy. He took a leap this year but hes always been a baller.
