I was looking at stats earlier and noticed that no one really stands out at all stat-wise this year in terms of the MVP voting. Who is your MVP if the season ended today?

Most Valuable Player, the player that the team cannot do without. I would think guys like Andre Johnson, Walter Jones, Casey Hampton or (based on evidence) Tony Romo... but I'm sure none of these players will win.

^^^i dont know about farve. Hes been a great addition to the jets, but with the way chad has been playing on the dolphins, I think the jets would of been a solid team with or without favre. As we seen this team is at its best when they run the ball, and when farve doesnt turn the ball over like crazy. When they fail to run the ball with success, and when favre turns the ball over...they lose. imo...the addition of jenkins is just as vital to this teams success than favre.

but my mvp so far...its kinda hard...but I say warner. without him the cards wouldnt be as good as they are.

Highest QB rating and Avg right now #1

#15 in Passing Yards with (yea I looked up stats, numbers dont lie lol) but he has 2,559 (and AVG 284) he missed 3 games (284 x 3 = 852... 2559 + 852 = 3411) Which would've put him at #3 in passin Yards.

He's Missed 3 Games and is Tied at #4 for Passing TD's

and lets look at the letters MVP... What do they stand for?
M = Most
V = Valuable
P = Player

I'd say when Romo went down the Value of Dallas went down. "Shit I think even the Mavs lost a couple of games during that time" J/P.. But seriously, look how awful we were without him. And look how he came back and brought us back out of games or just plain dominated. I see people picking Brees and Warner, I'm not taking nothing from them guys I have Brees as one of my FF QB's. But both those teams Pass 90% of the time. They're supposed to have those type of numbers. Dallas passes a lot but they also run way more than those 2 teams.

(Oh as far as Warner, he has the Best WR Trio in the League. He could close his eyes and complete 8-10 becuz they are that damn Good (WR's + Him))

Now the only other person I wouldn't argue against is Mr. Favre. That's the same team from last year and He has them looked as possible week 19 candidate.

Oh and for my #3 I'd say its between M. Ryan and Chris Johnson

After he went down and cameback the cowboys were a team in transition. They were trying to create some defensive prowless which they lacked before he went down as they werent very aggressive, and they had brad johnson. BRAD FUCKING JOHNSON. Nuff said. The guy blows. I mean if you are going to compare QB play and that QB carrying a team atleast make it even. Brad johnson is obviously not a quality or servicable NFL QB so please, compare him. And when the cowboys lost to the rams, yeah, brad johnson allowed those shitload of rushing yards.

Chris Johnson...err no. The guy isnt even the leading rusher out of all the rookie rbs.

Please, dallas passes just as much. Its just the stats dont show it because they get the lead than pound and tire out defenses with barber. The only time the cowboys run is when romo struggles and when they have a solid lead later in games.

Weapons? Wow...lets see....T.O, roy williams, witten, a crazy offensive line and MB3. Lol romos has all of these weapons and cant even serve them evenly. Without witten...Romo isnt the same QB.

And imo...Romo>warner. Id take a guy who consistently makes stick throws over a guy who makes a living out of hitting WIDE OPEN targets.

before thanksgiving Witten only had 4 passes in 4 games. How about that lol.
But I do agree that Witten is a big factor in the Offense.

Oh and I know that C. Johnson isn't the leading rusher but what he contributes to the Titans running game, they've lost games without him. The Titans QB manages the Game the HB's take it over.

MVP should go to a player form a team that made the playoffs. OPOY is for the player with the best stats. My choices would be either Kurt Warner or Matt Ryan. Without warner the cardinals wouldnt be anywhere. Well actually there division is so bad they could clinch with only 7 wins but thats beside the point. I could of told a lot of peopel that this is what they were getting wiht Matt Ryan. He did this at Boston College with little talent. If he had a good RB and some good recievers at Boston College he would have won a heisman. As for him winning the MVP. Matt Ryan pretty much brought an organization that was falling apart to a playoff contending team. Sure you can say Micheal Turner and Roddy White helped, but I say without Matt Ryan they could be a team trying to stay at 500. Tony Romo could also be a consideration if the Cowboys can make the playoffs.
