[360] my 360 is gone

after 6 years and 3 consoles, i am no longer in the 360 business. i built my pc and the few games i still play i play on the pc. I still have the wii (its not mine its the kids), and i still have my ps3. I chose to keep the ps3 instead of the 360 for a few reasons. free online service which will allow me to use netflix if i choose to, NFL sunday ticket in case i decide i want this...but the biggest reason was the media streaming abilities of the console. i said it a million times, but i will say it again...the media abilities of the ps3 are above and beyond the 360. they both do the same things with streaming, but the ps3 does it better. 95% of what i watch is streamed from my PC to my tv via the PS3

here is what i sold....

Xbox 360 Elite (Black) with 120 gb harddrive (i got it in February 2009)

got $200 for the bundle which i felt was fair. sold it to a family member so i feel like this was a fair deal

I am thinking of selling my PC i built back in January. For a gaming rig it absolutely kicks ass....but i just dont care to play video games anymore and i dont need a powerful gaming rig to browse the web. I wonder if i am finally done with video games

Had a friend of mine growing up who was a huge PC gamer and really into computers- was an executive in his fathers company by 18 running their entire computer network.

12 years later, he doesn't even keep up with any video games. Some people just grow out of them. Chances are, if you get rid of either your PS3 or the 360, you will regret that one. I think during the next generation, I'll make a pick between Playstation and Xbox instead of owning both and a gaming rig.

i dont play online anymore, but if i decide i want to, i like know i dont have to spend the money for something i might use sparingly. i also like that i dont have to pay if i choose to get netflix or sunday ticket. i have the option to pay for those services alone, without any extra fee from sony. i absolutely love the media streaming of the ps3.....so for me, the ps3 offered the better choices.

I can't believe you're done with gaming. I just hope you don't regret it. It seems like only maybe six months ago that you finished upgrading your PC to play Witcher 2.

I know it was easier just to unload all that stuff to one person but I would've bought Ghost Recon and NFL 2K5 from you.

nah man, its not about that. if i play something its on the pc now...but i have not played anything in about 2 weeks. that was kingdom of amalur but i didnt even finish it. games just bore me now

You are just going through a phase. I didn't game for nearly 2 years and then I started up heavily.. I'm kinda on a hiatus now, haven't played anything at all lately. I think I have signed on to PS3 once in the last few weeks.
