These sliders are not for guys who play the game 100 times a day.
They are for the casual player who doesn't know 6,000 manual moves with the R3 stick.
You'll see the shot accuracy is very high for the human player, it has to be for casual guys like me or every fucking game ends 1-0.
I don't like the speed slider at 0 or 1. I like it at 3. Really slow videogame hockey is boring to me.
All-star is the level to go if you want a real challenge from the CPU.
When developing these sliders, I was doing everything in my power to cut down the CPU cheating. EA says it's not there, I disagree.
Max out your human strategy adjustment. Max out the CPU's too. Makes for a tougher game, but still fair.
I put goalie puck cover at 6 to avoid wasting time.
I play 8 minute periods, but that's your call. I find I get the right shot totals with 8 minute periods.
All my slider testing was done using Montreal - they're the only team I ever use, so you may see different results if you prefer using a powerhouse team.
