Have to disagree with you there. The Cavs have a decent supporting cast, but nothing they couldn't get LeBron in New York. Z's getting up there in age, and the rest of his "team" is a bunch of spot up 3 point shooters. If New York keeps Robinson, Lee, Chandler, and Gallinari around and add LeBron they'll have decent enough talent where it wouldn't be a huge difference. Especially since they'll have the money to bring in a decent supporting cast afterwards. I mean, who wouldn't want to play with LeBron? In New York?

If you really think that Cleveland has a "great" team then I don't know what to say. LeBron makes that team. Maurice Williams, Delonte West, Anderson Varejao, Ben Wallace, Wally Szczerbiak, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, J.J. Hickson, etc. I'm not seeing great there.

Rumor was the the Celtics might pick him back up at a lower cost after 30 days.....the trade was made because of the money he would have gotten in his current contract. I believe they have two spots available (Cassell's spot and O'Bryants spot).

I love Lee (automatic double/double every night) but he can be more easily replaced. The last few weeks, it seems that Nate is transforming into a legit star before our eyes.

I hope there is some way to keep both, then we would only need one big name guy. And I don't think LeBron's supporting cast in Cleveland would be as good as what we would have in that case.

It's called a supporting cast. I mean, the Lakers without Kobe are the Grizzlies of '05: a team barely good enough to get the 8th seed in the West and then get swept. It's just Gasol, Odom, Fisher, Bynum, Vujacic, Farmar... does that scream great team? It's just awkward with out Kobe. But, when Kobe is in there, the pieces fit together perfectly and that makes them a great team.

But, there's no way he leaves what he has right now, a championship caliber team, for the Knicks. There's no way. The Big Z becomes Al Harrington, Mo Williams becomes Duhon, Ben Wallace becomes David Lee, and West becomes Nate Robinson. And the Knicks are totally counting on potential future. Who's to say they even get anyone during free agency? Chris Bosh and Amare haven't said that they're going to New York. Nothing is guaranteed or set in stone. And with the way things are going right now in Cleveland, the only time New York will see LeBron in 2010 is when he's lighting up the MSG for 50+ points.

LeBron won't leave Cleveland, because it is his home state. He is like a state hero coming from Akron and playing in Cleveland. The fans adore him and his team is currently top 3 so I guess something is clicking there. Why stop being the hometown hero to go play to a team which is not half good right now???

A lot of the Cleveland folk turned on him when he came out and said he was a Yankee fan.

A lot more of them killed him when he admitted he was a Cowboy fan.

Both instances he went to a game. Indians/Yanks, he wore a Yankee cap. Browns/Cowboys he bullshitted with TO and Jerry Jones.

He may as well get em to really hate him.
