Second, I can't seem to justify picking Texas. Just seems like Alabama is going to waltz through this one with that defense. I sure hope it's a good game though.

But this day is not shaping up to be great...my Dad is flying in from Iowa, but they've got eight inches of snow on the fucking ground, so he might not be able to leave. My brother was driving from Texas, and now he's stuck in a hotel waiting for the roads to get better. I just wanted my family here to watch the most important game of the season. Fuck my life.

No doubt...then again, we were going up against Suh. I'm not even gonna try and sugarcoat it, that dude was just beastly. He made Texas' o-line his bitch.

The nice thing about Texas is that even when our offense is held in check, our stellar defense can keep us in the game. I have high hopes for this contest.

I think with so much time to prepare for the game, Alabama has a big advantage because IMO Nick Saban is a superior strategist to Mack Brown. Saban doesn't have Brown's "people skills", but I think Alabama will come up with a way to move the ball on offense and overpower Texas on defense.

I voted Boise State... i don't know why cause even if they were in this game Bama would kill them.

A lot of people say Bama is gonna roll through them, no pun intended. But I think Colt McCoy is gonna give them a lot of problems and the game will be won by Bama late in the 4th quarter.

Yeah, Vince Young. He single-handidly won that game for Texas.

Mack Brown is still overrated and he has no VY to bail his ass out this time. Colt McCoy is a great college QB but he can't take a game over like Vince Young did.

By the same token, Muschamp is a master strategist defensively and Greg Davis is a good offensive coordinator who once directed the highest scoring offense in NCAA history in 2005.

Personally though, I'm rooting for Alabama because I still may end up going to college there. My head is telling me Texas is going to get completely blown off the ball in the trenches and that McCoy won't have any time to do anything and that they will get shut down. My gut is telling me that if there is one quarterback in college football that I'd take this year for a game like this... its McCoy.
