Its not as bad as season showdown but this isn't a halftime show, this is pregame. Can't we have team entrances first before bands? ugh

The thing I disagree about with this type of shit is...

If they are going to add mascots, fight music, bands, or stadiums into the game... they should do it with EVERY team, and not just with some teams. It would make the game more official.

It's pretty lame for the North Texas fans of the world, to see Michigans, band, and michigans mascot, and michigans stadium, but not have any of their own shit in the game.

That would be sweet....at least for rivalry games and bowl games (if not every game).

Actually I hope they get rid of this next year and put in shots of impact players warming up along with audio stating stats (like in PS2 days) but for next gen....even more in depth. Perhaps the importance of the game (bowl eligible, stats from last game, etc).

I'm hoping that Adam's responses meant that they hardly spent time on this, but obviously someone had to. He said only 1 guy worked on it, that could be one guy who is working on team entrances or something else. This really sucks, Oregon is probably going to get this band thing when the only time you'd see the band is at halftime, but we already know this is pre-game.

I'm wondering if they are doing top teams (in general) or the top 25 (preseason) and a couple of "big time" schools....such as ND. Today Texas Band is shown on its site.

edit: This seems like a "good" idea because it adds to college atmosphere but "poorly" implemented. If they even do have the Aggie Band....going to suck to see them before kickoff and not in the North End of Kyle Field at halftime.

I really don't think this is too bad of a feature, I've seen much worse, haha. Granted, it sounds like Madden is going to take it's place as THE football game of the year again after being behind NCAA Football the past couple of years. Regardless, I'll still play both religiously all year long as I always do.

I always had both.

I just don't have any games for my PS3 except for Madden 09, and The Show 09.

Once MM banned me, I strictly played Sports games for the 360 because all the people I knew were on the 360.

This year will be different though.

With VSN having a whole shitload of new PS3'ers... I'll be buying NCAA, CoD, Madden,NHL, and NBA 2k10 for both systems.

This feature isn't THAT bad, but this will get boring after the second time you see it, I guarantee it.
