NCAA Football 13 at E3: Dynasty Mode Walkthrough w/ Maryland

MadSci of MaddenMatrix.com (and former MM'er) is dropping footage of his run through of the new Dynasty Mode, showing off some recruiting and in-game footage. There are going to be 8 parts and not all of them are uploaded yet. I will update the first post as they are uploaded. I see a lot of things I like so far.

I wish EA would implement the ESPN presentation with Madden. Or get a deal with Fox and CBS, the college presentation is infinitely better because of it.

When the guy was creating his coach I noticed that they added the ability to change CPU no-huddle style for a coach that you are creating/editing. I guess no-huddle usage will be based on the coach rather than the playbook.

Something a little odd that you see when he goes to view all prospects is that out of the top 10 prospects in the nation 7 of them are ATHs. Did making triple-threat athletes cause the game to view these guys as more valuable or better players? I was afraid that by announcing that they made athletes more dynamic that it would cause these guys to be too good but we will just have to see how they turn out. This could also just be a rare recruiting class that just happened by chance but I wouldn't count on that since last year it was like this just with WRs or HBs.

Then you see him sort the prospects by their forty times and there has to be around 30 prospects with sub 4.30 forty times. Seems a little over the top and it must be something new because I don't ever recall seeing that many in ncaa 12. Maybe some of these guys will go down in speed and acceleration once they have been scouted.

The way a recruiting call is side scrolling now is very interesting. It will take a little time to get used to it but I believe that it is much cleaner and smoother than what we have been using for the past few years.

Finally I don't like the way the game looks on normal speed. I played 12 using slow speed for the most part so I might not be used to the way the game looks while on normal speed but it just looks very arcadish when watching. This could be the same for 12, someone else could possibly shed some light on this.
