I guess it will be coming out after Undisputed (May)...wonder if they'll be putting themselves behind the eight ball right out of the gate.

I'm not so sure that stylistically the fight engine will be much better or different than the UFC game.

HOWEVER, the fact that you can fight in a ring, with PRIDE rules and in other promotions besides Strikeforce, that's pretty sweet. Also, the roster (which isn't finalized yet) looks fun to say the least.

I wish they would sign more 205ers, 155ers and welterweights...heavyweights too.

sounds like a christmas release to me. I'll wait for full details on gameplay before I jump up and get this. I detest the total punch control system used in Fight Night and in previous versions, when they actually let you use button mapped strikes as a replacement, certain commands werent included, impairing the effectiveness of button mapped strikes. If they fix this AND the ground game is significantly better than what UFC has, then I'll buy it.

The game looks great, the roster is awesome, the different arenas and rule sets add nice depth to the game, but EA has had some issues with overlooking gameplay for flash and so called revolutionary additions that were included in past-gen games lately, at least in their football games.

This will have to be perfect in order to get me to buy an EA Sports game, coming out after Undisputed and being a year behind they're really fighting an uphill battle. I still think they would have been better of making an entire new engine for it, but we'll see. I see THQ as the new 2k vs EA.

Dont let EA hype you up only to be let down. I felt the same about Fight Night 4 but after a few weeks of playing it the hype for a new boxing game wore off and the realization that the game didnt represent the sport accurately at all just pissed me off.

I hope Diazs taunt is the only one in there...I really wish EA would spend less time on giving every fighter a unique taunt and more time on refining gameplay and making a good game. Honestly, who cares if they have Franks sleep time taunt if the gameplay is as bad as it has been in most recent EA sports games? Taunts would be a cool add-on for a second year production or something, but the focus should be on solid gameplay, not on the fluff

I doubt everyone would have a taunt, but it gives the game some personality, people like to fight with guys because of there style, Diaz taunts a lot when he fights, Frank does also

Only a couple guys do it, I dont think it would hinder making the game to throw a couple extras so people fell like they are playing with a certain fighter compared to another

Maybe King Mo sticking out his chin would be another one
