You are correct sir, HBO did have a mini series based off this book & upon further research; that mini series was named "Generation Kill" as well. Nonetheless - FML

If this is anywhere near as good as BoB, then this is going to be fucking fantastic. Band of Brothers was the greatest mini-series of all time so Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg have a lot to live up to with this installment.

Yea, after watching it on HBO and then a year later on the History Channel. I went out and bought Band of Brothers the series for somewhere around $80 at the time.

IMO, well worth it.

you know i just realized how are they going to have what imo was one of the best parts of the bob series the interview before hand of the real life members of the squad those imo set the mood immensely for the show
