Seattle already hosts a Jr. A team with the Seattle Thunderbirds. Look at this sweat logo.
If any team moves to Seattle I hope the ownership is smart to make the team colours the same as these and the Seahawks, basically like what Pittsburgh does with all its teams. Dump the Coyote name, come up with something good, and these colours and win in that area.
It's interesting because the WHL has an entire U.S. division with teams in Portland, OR, and four teams in Washington State, including Seattle, Tri-City, Spokane and Everett. Some strong team history in those five teams right there. It's really fucked when you think of the WHL's travel with kids going from Portland to Brandon Manitoba.
Looking at people, Seattle is the biggest city in the 'dub' and they are averaging about 3800 people a game. Their arena seats 6000. But that is junior, so it could do much better with a pro hockey team. You start getting big name players there, people will show up.
