This is a pretty even match-up, and I think people are underestimating how much better the Vikings play at home than on the road.

We went into New Orleans and shut that crowd up. This crowd is no different.

And I've seen where Minnesota sports radio is saying McKinnie will get some help vs Ware and that Loadholt will be ok because somebody named "Anthony Fletcher" is "not that good".

All of the talking heads on ESPN and the sports media that said Green Bay was going to beat Arizona last week are at it again with the Cowboys this week. They all predict the Cowboys to roll over the Vikings as of this afternoon.

The Vegas line is Minnesota by 3, which is basically home field advantage. All of the talking heads on ESPN and the sports media that said Green Bay was going to beat Arizona last week are at it again with the Cowboys this week. They all predict the Cowboys to roll over the Vikings as of this afternoon.

Those same talking heads had Dallas dead in the water a month ago.

There's still plenty that say they won't win this game as well.

At any rate, that's just it. They're talking heads.

I just thought it was a funny quote, thats the only reason I posted it. I never said anything about the crowd noise, I was just saying we play much better at home, as our 8-0 home record and 4-4 road record would attest. Considering everyone is picking the Cowboys to win, I'd consider public opinion has them as the favorites, especially considering the Vegas line started at 2 1/2.

And for all the talk of the Cowboys ferocious pass rush, lets not forget the Vikings led the NFL in sacks. Lets wait and see how Flozell fares against Jared Allen.

Flozell's been playing like his old self of late. Speed rushers give him more trouble than power rushers, but he kept Trent Cole off Romo two weeks in a row.

I view Allen as more of a power guy and Adams is tough to overpower. We'll see. That matchup is more of a tossup than McKinnie/Ware or Spencer/Loadholt and it's not even debatable.

Allen and Ware can determine the outcome of the game for their teams. They have that ability and power.

If the Cowboys can neutralize Allen, that might be enough for Romo to do the rest.

If the Vikings can neutralize Ware, that might be enough for Favre.

This is a very tough game to pick for me, but I gotta go with Vikings because I just believe in Favre more than I do Romo. I think he goes for 300 and 3 TDs in this one.

He might run around him on the pass all day but if you run right at him you can make the tackle's size advantage wear the smaller LB down over the course of the game. If you run at him enough to make him respect play action and not be ready to sprint into the backfield, it can make him one dimensional. It worked against LT, it can work against Ware.

Harvin concerns me. Have to admit I was wrong on him.

The Vikes run the exact same offense the Eagles do. Difference is unlike Reid, Childress actually uses his running attack.

If Dallas can somehow get up early and foce the Vikings to throw, they'll be in good shape, because they can harrass Favre. If the Vikes are able to get the ground game going and keep the D off balance, it could spell trouble.

Wade is to be commended for what he's done with the defense over the last 2 months, but I was impressed at how he turned loose some blitzes from the secondary for the first time all season on Saturday. One thing I'm curious about is that he has not used the 46 look at all this year. I know they threw some of it in last year, but it hasn't been seen once this year. One has to wonder if he's saving that for this week or later like he did with the safety blitzes last week. Something to think about.

Dallas has been playing playoff football for six weeks.
Minnesota's coach and QB aren't even on the same page.

IMO, with the way Dallas has been playing lately, this is like throwing a piece of steak into a pit of bengal tigers.

I don't like Minnesota's chances at all.

It'd be a foolish mistake to think Ware is a finesse guy who can't stop the run. Plus if you run to that side, you have to deal with Olshansky as well.
