Why would I care about how my school is doing online? I care about two things:

1) How I'm doing online
2) How my team is doing in real life


EA missed the mark with this one. Surprise surprise.

Just a fail feature, its too bad they focused their time on this. Probably why the series is still so far behind Madden

There's always one brand-new and completely useless/stupid feature they add to the game...I dunno, I guess they think it makes it marketable? But how in the world does this appeal to the casual gamers who couldn't name all of the teams in their favorite team's own fuckin conference on a bet, because it sure as fuck doesn't appeal to the hardcore gamers?

Someone had to make it. Not to mention the time they spend on promoting it, all the menu's they had to make, the pop-ups, the categories, etc. "No time taken away" is an excuse made by them to diffuse a bad situation. They must've thought people would like it and now that its blowing up on them, they are trying to play it off. That's how I see it anyway.

Still, that is one team that could have been giving us referees, chain gangs, etc.

I understand what you're saying...but the simple fact of the matter is that EA Sports spent resources on this stupid feature. Those resources could've gone to another area of the game, so this whole "It didn't take away from anything else" line is bullshit. When you only have a year to make a game, you better focus on the shit that matters instead of crap like this.

I kinda like it. Now that doesnt mean its not stupid. I mean, I thought it was just ok when they did it for FIFA EURO 2008. But it just got old too fast. Maybe for NCAA it wont get old as fast maybe it will.

To me, the real question is weather or not they really ruined other features because of the time they spent on this and its so bad you can tell.

But also take into consideration, that EA had to have some kind of research here to make them think this was a good idea. There are alot of crazy nutball people that would do anything for there school.

To me, ill try it, use it some, and be done with it quickly.
