When I saw the highlights of the game, I initially thought it was a fumble. However, I didn't see the game, so I don't know what replays were shown, but don't the coaches in the booth have access to replays? Where were they after the call?

The Sharper TD impacted the game and it was clear as day it was the wrong call.

Like I said in my original post. It's over and done with. Just think it's horse shit that guys get paid to make these calls.

And I agree, not only this game but all year long we have seen some games impacted by shitty refereeing.

Not much blocking going on there. It was a blatant hold on Vilma, which also impacted the game because Rickey scored on the play, and Vilma would have been there to make the tackle.

Like we agree on, refereeing is terrible league wide, and it only seems to be getting worse each season.

Pretty ridiculous that in this one game, three blown calls came on touchdowns (Sharper, Williams TD run, Brown's TD).

Penalties although they can be missed are more 95% of the time called properly. It just waves a red flag when you do research online about the NFL being fixed and then you see some horse shit like that.

No reason why the referee didn't see that the ball was fumbled before he reached the end zone and no reason in the world why the call wasn't overturned into a touchback.

I agree that it was a bad call on the field given the evidence, but shit like this happens all the time. When it's all said and done, Miami blew a good lead. One or two calls are rarely the only determining factor in the outcome of a game.

Sparano did call a timeout before halftime, after the booth review of Colston's catch. The correct call on that play actually should have been Colston fumbling it before his knees were down, but recovering it in the end zone for a score.

As a Saints fan, I can live with Sharper's explanation of the play.

I already posted a link that used stats to show Miami had the best running back tandem in the NFL.

Ronnie and Ricky have rushed for 887 yards, 12 Tds and have fumbled 1 time.

Rice and Mcgahee have rushed for 643 yards, 8 Tds and have fumbled 1 time.

Pretty close but still Miami has more yards and have produced more TDs.

I don't think either of those backs are as good as Ronnie Brown tho. Ray Rice may be in the future but right now Ronnie Brown is a "elite" Running back.

Lets see the carries.

Cuz I do believe Ray Rice averages 6 yards a carry, compared to Mr. "Elite" Ronnies Browns 4.5

Ofcourse they are gonna have more yards, Miami has run the ball 213 times compared to Baltimores 154. Thats like 3 1/2 games worth of carries more lol.

Hand the ball off to Willis and Ray 213 times and I gurantee they produce more.
