I haven't taken it out of the case yet but I will let you guys know how it is in about a month after I figure out how to navigate menus and play the game.

I will add though that just instruction booklet that came with it is actually awesome, too bad i cant read it LOL

I've always wanted to get this, maybe this is the year. Does it have the WBC rosters in this years version?

I paid $85 and that was for the free shipping, it took about a week and a half to get here after it shipped for total of about two weeks. As for WBC, that I don't know. I want to say no.

What I first put the game and I thought It was going to be a pain going through the translation sites but Actually , I'm having fun doing the tutorial right now.

I am only doing pitching and batting tutorials right now but I will say this for sure, the graphics are below the show barely but the ball physics are freaking incredible.

For anybody that has played FIFA soccer and has played Pro evolution soccer, the graphics are comparable that way

I'm basically just trying to remember the shapes of the characters but I'm sure will take a while to be able to navigate the menu without following a guide.

After spending a millennium trying to get settings correct and navigates the menus, I managed to get it pretty much where I want it. All I have to say is this game is quite difficult but very fun. Japanese baseball, for anybody who hasn't watched it is much different than American baseball, even the ball has a different weight.

I had last years version. I liked it, it wasn't too hard to navigate after you figure everything out.

It was a solid game, but after awhile I found it hard to get into the game just because I didn't know the players well. If you follow the NPB you will probably really get into the game.

I really liked fielding and the defense on the game, it was great.

I'm also on the look out for a new and different baseball games as well. I just don't have the time to play video games like I used to. When it came down to it, I ended up just playing MLB the show for my baseball fix.

I think my all time favorite baseball games were the PowerPro series. Man I wish they still made those for MLB. I was tempted to pick up the NPB new version. MLB bobbleheads was pretty good too once you turned the stupid bobblehead bouncing head mode off. The PowerPro series played a nice quick realistic game of baseball. Konami gave up on the series to early in the u.s. I know alot of people didn't dig the graphics, but it really did play a nice quick realistic game of baseball.

Ya I heard about the iphone game. I had a powerpro version I think two years ago on the iphone when I was all about the series. It was ok, but I'm just not much of a fan of ipad and iphone gaming.

Ya I think they stopped selling it on the 360 arcade in the fall. Apparently Konami just wasn;t happy with sales or something with it and it never made it's way to the PsN.

I had the dlcs, so it was good to have the one that let you edit rosters. I was able to at least get 2 years out of the game. But getting the rosters right just became to much time. I might make it a summer project if I get bored with MLB the show.

I like the show don't get me wrong, just seems like alot of the fielding has those same coined animations similar to a madden game. The Konami games like pro spirits and powerpros has a real nice feel on the fielding side. Granted some people hated the fielding on powerpros, because it is tough, but I liked the simplicity of cutting down angles because the fielders are very limited at times. I think Powerpros was the only baseball game I ever played where you could manually jump straight up with an infielder to rob a line drive hit. You just can;t do that in The Show manually.

You can jump like that manually in PYS too, and I'm loving this game so far and the only thing I'm really having trouble with gameplay wise is actually getting the ball in the air and out of the infield. About 99% of my hits are choppers and dribblers to the infielders.

Ya I really like the fielding in the Konami games. The dive/slide fielding plays in spirits are well done too.
