With those preliminary prices, no interest in PS now.

They are clearly pushing for you to buy the longer sub terms, which really aren't THAT bad, certainly not insane ($10 a month isn't great, but the idea is that you would have access to more than just Final Fantasy X-2).

What do people expect this SHOULD be? Cost wise, I mean. What would be an ideal price point?

EDIT - I guess I misread this, are they charging per game? That seems...unwise and kind of stupid.

I was really excited for this but after seeing that there's no way I'm getting PS Now.... now.

I was expecting the current setup, just with reasonable prices to buy a game, not rent.

The only hope is that this is just the beta. Maybe they'll listen to consumer response and lower them.

That was kind of what I was thinking. With a reasonable yearly fee for all inclusive access, I would have been all over this service. With premium per game pricing, probably not going to be interested.

Well this is closed beta. Also mentioned that these prices are subject to change. Considering the backlash I'm sure when July 31st rolls around we'll see more reasonable prices. As far as a sub service goes they mentioned it is their plan to make it a sub service with rental options, but again its a closed beta and who would sub right now with the extremely limited selection that is there right now. My bet is we won't actually see the subscription model until the holiday season. Just my guess. What I would love is if it allowed us to put our PS3 games in the system and allows us to use PSNow to play the title. Or allow us to buy a full license to use whenever we want

When? Yesterday I looked for myself. 90 days of 'Saints Row The Third The Full Package' was 29$. I can buy that for 22$ on Amazon.

Not all games were touched but some went as low as 15 dollars for 90 days. Its still up to the publisher to set the prices
