Documents have appeared that appear to show a PlayStation 3 Super Slim model.
Documents filed with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), spotted by Japanese website Pocket News, reveal Sony Computer Entertainment's plan to release a new PS3 model, labelled the 4000 series.

We're currently on the 3000 series. Specifically, the CECH-4001x model is mentioned, and this could relate to a slimmer PS3, which Eurogamer has heard will be announced at German game show Gamescom next month.

The documents mention that "x" will be replaced by an alphabet denoting the different hard disk specification.

Buried within the various test results and charts is an image that shows the 4000 model with a new FCC label position. This image is above and, below alongside images that show the 3000 model and the original PS3 model.

Sony declined to comment when contacted by Eurogamer.

My 250 GB hard drive filled up with a lot of help from PS+ games. It's at the point where I can only fit one or two of the free full PS3 games on my hard drive at a time right now after deleting some older game data and games.

I thought PS4 was supposed to be coming out in the 2013 Holiday Season? This seems like a waste purchase if that's the case.

If you don't already own a PS3 and want one, I don't see why this would be a wasted purchase. I'd be surprised if the PS4 has PS3 backward compatibility (and doesn't cost an arm and leg).

I returned my physical copy of R&C
Didn't have ZA
Had SM on 360
Didn't have Choplifter, Gotham City Imposters, Hard Corps Uprising which are the most recent ones.

I got the joke and thought it was lame. I also have a shit ton of games saves and game data.
 
I have a question about PS+.....is saints row 3 available for you to play forever as long as you are a paying customer or is only available for the month the advertise?

must be the install data....game saves are small.
