Word is the injury came on the hit from Patrick Beverly the other night. He certainly was in a lot of pain and was pissed at Beverly afterwards...damn.
 
Oh wow, that's super disappointing. Much to the dismay of the VSN NBA crowd Russell was putting together a really awesome season and while the Thunder didn't have the same "flash" they had in recent years, they were a better, more under control team. Better built for playoff success IMO.
 
When I saw him go down I thought he damaged something, because Westbrook usually just gets back up as if nothing happened, but he was limping around and holding his knee. He played the rest of the game, so I just assumed he twisted it up. This sucks for NBA fans.
 
Playoff intrigue now reduced greatly. Not that I thought OKC had a GREAT chance to beat Miami but they certainly had a better chance than the Nuggets, Warriors, Clippers or Spurs.

On the other hand, now the West is relatively wide open. We could see any of the four I mentioned in the the Finals which is cool to see. The problem, of course, is they are just being fed to the Miami machine.

Very upset with this recent trend of great guards getting catastrophic injuries. Rose, Kobe, now Westbrook...
 
makes me wonder how guys like Jordan, Bird and Magic went on for years without injury......

kinda sucks for the NBA playoffs now, cause there is no stopping the Heat from winning it all now....
But if the Knicks can get lucky, we might see a wide open Championship
 
Can't wait for the Thunder to make the finals and everyone in the media talks about how useless Westbrook is since the Thunder got there without him anyway. :facepalm:

I would love to see Clippers/Heat or Nuggets/Heat. I like the Nuggets style better, but I'd love to see CP3 against the Heat 4-7(lol) times.
