-- In wrestling-related bad news from Japan, Don Quixote, the money behind SRC (Sengoku) pulled out, and the company sent a press release essentially saying that fans should prepare for the company most likely going out of business. Quixote did announce that they would continue to support Shooto, Pancrase and various amaresu (amateur wrestling) groups. It is also believed that FEG, the parent company of K-1, will be bankrupt very soon. Kampiro Magazine, which covered pro-wrestling and MMA, is also finished at least as a print publication, though they will continue to operate an Internet site.

Very unfortunate, but the writing was seemingly on the wall. On an event-by-event basis, Sengoku produced better fights and events than DREAM. Until DEEP and Shooto start using HD cameras, the ability of watching JMMA events with good quality just got a lot harder.

At least there will still be K-1.....I hope. :(
