Shayne and I have been going at it for about two nights now, back and forth about which player means more to the Arizona Cardinals recent success - Kurt Warner or Larry Fitzgerald. Now, prior to Kurt Warner, Fitz played in about 32 NFL games, where he pulled in 100 yards, a whopping three times. I know, I know, why hasn't Larry won MVP yet, is beyond me.

So, Shayne and I have agreed to these terms. A forum bet. He has agreed to be put on ignore, until Larry Fitzgerald can pull in a single 100 yard game, without Kurt Warner throwing a single pass. Now, he showed signs this past Sunday, when Kurt Warner went down, and Leinart took over - I think Fitzgerald caught one pass, for like - 5 yards or something, never crossing midfield. So, there's a very good possibility that Shayne could win this bet in 2009.

Well, you can vote on which season you think Shayne will be removed.

And, of course, discuss.

I'm going to vote 2011, when Warner retires. Partly because I believe in Fitzgerald's talent, and partly because my computer is a piece of shit, and not having Shayne's sig lag my computer and threads for that period of time, will be a fucking blessing.

And the great thing about this so called Forum bet that I was unaware of until now...Fitz has already had a 100 yard receiving game without Warner! LOL And this is per Nukleheadpatra's own post

Josh Mccown is also responsible for, I think two of Larry Fizgeralds three 100 yard games, prior to Kurt Warner. Three 100 yard games in 32 NFL starts, prior to Kurt Warner.. Again, I'm impressed. How Larry hasn't won MVP yet, is beyond me.

For the record, Warner started in Larry's first 100 yard game after just 16 starts, not 32. McCown took over for Warner three games later after a groin injury. McCown had Larry's first two consecutive 100 yard games in McCown's next to start, Nukleheadpatra.

As banged up as Warner is, no way in hell does he finish the entire 2010 season, if he even finishes this one - so, as talented as Fitzgerald is, I believe that in the end, you will come out the winner of this bet. As long as Larry can gain 100 yards by 2012, you win. I'll sport a Larry Fitzgerald or Torry Holt avatar, or some shit. Your call.

Maybe even Mark Duper. Anything but Doug Williams.

You know I know the crossing route, it's the reason I gave to you for Larry having more receptions and fewer yards than S-W (S-W BTW is the guy who's been running free wherever he wants against the worst passing defenses in football this year) but I digress.
