2011 Poster Of The Year
Sherman Pendergast, a former member of the Pat Miletich team, passed away this morning from colon cancer.
Pendergast, 45, had been battling the disease for two years, yet fought as recently as February on a show in Fargo, ND. Pendergast had an 11-18 record with 1 no contest, fighting once in UFC in 2006 (losing to Antoni Hardonk) and once in Bellator in 2009 (losing to Joey Beltran).
IIRC, he was KO'd via thigh kick in that Hardonk fight, one of those rare leg kicks that hits the right nerve and zaps your brain.

He was an ok fighter who ended up with the bad record due to some late career paycheck collecting.
