Kemp deserved it in the first place, but I'm against stripping him from it because then you have to start doing it to guys such as Sosa, Bonds, and A-Rod. And for all we know, Kemp might have not been clean in 2011 either.

I vote no. Let Braun keep his awards just like Bonds keeps his. Everyone think's he's a dick anyways so it's whatever. Braun is getting his suspension and losing over 3 million bucks, we can move on now.

ATLANTA (CNNSI.com) -- Duke signee Shelden Williams and Oklahoma signee De'Angelo Alexander have been named in a rape complaint in Columbus, Ohio, according to a report in The Oklahoman.

Both Williams, the nation's No. 5 senior according to TheInsiders.com, and Alexander, a top 30 senior by some publications, attend Midwest City High School in Oklahoma. Three other Midwest City basketball players are also a part of the rape investigation, according to the report.

A 19-year-old woman filed a report with Columbus police on Sunday morning alleging Williams, 18, Alexander, 17, and Matthew Kemp, 17 forced her into sexual conduct at the Columbus Hyatt Hotel at about 2 a.m. Sunday morning while two other players watched, according to The Oklahoman.

The Midwest City team was in Columbus, Ohio, to compete in the National Hoops Classic basketball tournament.

No charges have been filed and no arrests have been made. However, Columbus police have questioned Williams and Alexander.

"Detectives are looking at the case at this point," Columbus police spokesman Sherry Mercurio told The Oklahoman.

Williams, Alexander and Kemp are all starters on the Midwest City basketball team. The other two players have been accused of "being in the room when it happened and are part of the investigation," Mercurio told The Oklahoman.

All five players have been suspended from the team pending the investigation. Williams is a 6-foot-9 forward and Alexander is a 6-5 guard.

Midwest City is Oklahoma's top-ranked team in 6A and has been ranked in the top 15 nationally.

Fuck taking away awards, hit him where it counts. If you are suspended for PEDs, your contract should be no long guaranteed. If your performance once you return doesn't match the contract you got while juicing, your team should be able to cut you.

It is stupid to imply that someone is cheating just because 1) he's a baseball players, 2) he had a great season, and 3) other good baseball players have done PEDs. That is all there is which points to Kemp or Jose Bautista or Chris Davis, etc. ever using steroids. Everyone is being tested.

I think doing so would be a slippery-slope that Bud Selig would royally fuck up, but I also am probably much more in favor of guys losing awards than anybody in this thread. I see Kemp's logic...I didn't cheat, Braun did, I finished 2nd and Braun finished 1st. Since Braun cheated and I didn't, I should be awarded 1st.

I liked the Heisman approach, although I don't think the MVP will be taken from him. Take away the award and don't give it to anyone else. It avoids the possible game of hot potato that could occur if the second place person gets nabbed, too.

If they can find strong evidence that he was doping/PED using in the 2011 season (or prior to it) then maybe it should be brought before third party arbitration and let them rule on it. But until they find said evidence, no, they should not take away his MVP.
