Goodell and the refs are fucking clueless, heath miller almost breaks his damn neck and not even a freakin call. Harrison makes that hit and its a 1 game suspension. and fuck you john harbaugh for saying your players understand the rules, clearly they are just as lost as the rest of the league

Where do we draw the line on these hits? From what I saw, he was going for the gut/chest and Miller got hit from behind causing his head to go right into that hit. I didn't think the hit was dirty at all.

GTFO... that hit was entirely legal... the thing I want to see more of is the refs and NFL realizing that a defender is going for the torso, then a WR/TE gets scared and drops down and ends up getting hit in the head... These are still humans, not machines, you can't program them to not make a tackle, outside of prob Meriweather's big helmet to helmet a few weeks ago I don't see many big time hits that could of been avoided.

The hit was on a defenseless player. It was a textbook penalty, and I'll be AMAZED if he isn't fined.

Head of officiating told the SNF crew during the game that it should have been a penalty and at this point a fine will be the only thing coming to the player.

I just disagree with the fact that apparently you can't hit a defenseless receiver period. When your QB leaves you out to dry, that's exactly what is supposed to happen. Didn't lead with his helmet, and didn't go after Miller's head.

Harrison has a bullseye on himself, to the point where he gets fined for looking at someone the wrong way (I'm amazed he has 10 sacks this season so far). So finally something that Harrison would DEFINITELY get called for happens, and nothing? It was irritating to watch and worthy of being bitched about I think.

A QB after they cross the line of scrimmage is treated just like a running back. The call against Suh was garbage. They need to start fining these refs for making bad calls in games. There have been too many missed or miscalled penalties that have changed games this year.

I agree that the Suh play shouldn't of been a flag, but I thought it was called because they thought Suh threw and elbow/forearm at the back of Cutlers head (even though replays showed it was clearly a push) which would have been a penalty regardless of position. More of a bad judgement call than protecting the QB call imo.

I don't agree with most of Harrison's either. The only thing remotely dirty about the McClain hit was it was a little late.
