Sim or not

The question should be as follows:

Is subbing a backup Qb (with speed or whatever) in the redzone sim or not sim when you have a healthy Qb (who is the starter) still healthy

state your opinion and reason please

not naming names just want to see what other people think so i'm not the only one who doesnt think its not "sim"

the reason I think it is not sim and pure cheese is the fact that how many times do you see the starting (healthy) QB coming out of the game and the backup coming in.......in my experiences very rarely

In fact if you want to have a speedster in the game go ahead I dont care run scramble with him I can handle someone doing that and it being sim but not subbing a qb in for 1 play

I dont think its cheese because it doesnt take advantage of the AI and isnt a glitch. . I have also seen the Jets inserting a faster player at QB a couple of times.

well if it is merely taking advantage of your roster why do more teams not do it why is it that the starting qb is almost always in the qb position the entire time even on qb sneaks i feel that this is almost the same as subbing a Rb as a Fb

Most NFL teams dont have a luxury of bringing in a fast QB in certain situations. I know the ravens bring troy smith in a couple times in some games to add speed.

then why in madden in a game playing with sim rules would you do it if most nfl teams dont do it

and celts you make me laugh when did the ravens put troy smith in as qb when they were in the redzone after he got benched

cheesing is more than that

cheesing is taking advantage of some of the flawed game mechanics like say a fb dive, or a rb @ qb or rb @ fb or a lot of other combinations

what do you mean putting in jdb over tjackson

as long as you keep the person you started with for the whole game unless he is being crap that is sim to me I don't start my best defensive tackle i use clifton

however when people start subbing a qb in for a specific situation for example the redzone I feel it is cheese b/c how many times is a nfl team going to do that

Everytime the patriots are on the goaline they bring in there goalline package. So yes NFL teams do bring in players for certain situations. To me bringing in a QB for a certain situation is no different.

It doesn't matter...there are teams that sub in QB's in different situations.

It isn't cheese and it's hard to justify it is because people have done it in the NFL.

how is it cheese? I don't think you really gave an explanation why it is cheese.

Is it cheese to sub in your 2nd string RB because he is faster than your starter? ( your 2nd stringer isn't starting the game)

Is it cheese to put your best WR in the slot so he is matched up against the opposing teams nickle back?
