So, when this game was first announced a few years ago I was intrigued. I've never been a "Trekkie" but I did enjoy the latest J. J. Abrams movie. Plus the game is two player co-op and I love co-op games. But then it just seemed to fall of the face of the Earth. Info seemed to trickle out every so often and then BAM, it releases today.

There seems to be no fanfare and it's as if the publisher has already sent it out to die. I haven't seem a single commercial, ad, etc for this game. It seems awfully weird considering this is Star Trek we're talking about and there is a new movie just around the corner.

I know Swarley has it coming from Gamefly but does anyone else have it or are going to get it. Early word is that it's pretty solid but based on the lack of interest seeming everywhere (even over at Gamefaqs there are only FOUR pages of thread for both versions) I'm guessing this game will be super cheap very soon.

I definitely want to check it out at some point though.
 
Heard the co-op was solid, depending on how long it is, I may rent it for a night and try to beat it in one sitting with a friend of mine.
 
Yeah, sorry I forgot to give my impressions. The game seemed very "meh" to me. Just very bland in every way possible. The shooting is solid enough and there is even Uncharted-esque platforming but nothing stood out in the several hours I played of it. And I definitely noticed several times where AI would do stupid shit like that. The humor and dialogue, espcially with Kirk, seemed pretty well done though.

It's like Aliens CM all over again.

It might be a little more fun in co-op but I doubt it.
