They're only 60 away and with 72 more attempts at it. I'm sorry, but like I said in June, the trade to Orlando was not even remotely equal or fair. The Nets did not get equal/similar value for that trade and that adding Ryan Anderson to the trade made it that much worse. I remember someone saying Anderson wasn't that good and not make a big deal about it, but he's been money and the Nets miss him dearly. In exchange, the Nets get overrated as fuck Courtney Lee, Skip-to-my-Turnover, and Tony Battie, who wasn't even on the fucking 8-man roster (are you kidding me?). The Nets are fucking terrible.

And don't start talking to me about getting LeBron or any of that bullshit. LeBron has no interest playing for a shitty team who can't even win games.

The NETS are asking fans to rally behind them for their first win of the season by supporting the NETS during their match-up against the Indiana Pacers Tuesday, November 17 at 7:30 p.m. at the IZOD CENTER.

NETS players are thanking season ticket holders by giving each of them two tickets for the game to bring additional friends and family to produce a packed house of cheering NETS fans.

The NETS are also offering the opportunity to purchase a select lower level or upper level ticket at the Box Office for that night’s game for just $10 while supply lasts.

“Your team has played very hard this season, but with an unprecedented amount of injuries we just haven’t been able to attain a victory,” said NETS CEO Brett Yormark. “But even with the injuries, the entire team believes that ‘10 is Enough.’ That’s why we are asking you, our loyal fans, to rally around your team like never before at Tuesday night’s game. So bring your enthusiasm, show your support, and let’s get our first win.”

Yeah that trade sucked and I don't know why Anderson was added to the trade. Bottom line is they are lining up for LeBron...that's the bottom line. They feel that Jay-Z being real cool with LeBron and the impending move to Brooklyn, along with a young cast can bring him to the Nets.

To be fair though, Harris, Lee, CDR, Hayes, Yi have all missed a ton of time...that's literally 3 starters that our out and 4 if you think hayes was starting. Losing that much, and playing with the likes of guys who are FA's next year, of course they are going to be by. Alston, Simmons, Hassell, are starting and are FA's...lol. Lopez has been doing work but he's the lone one who's played every game. Getting CDR back and seeing the further improvement of T-Will is what you will see.

Harris, Lopez, Lee, Douglas-Roberts, Terrence Williams + a lottery pick, + the cap space to sign a marquee FA, + a couple decent role players = couldn't be in much better of a situation really as far as the future is concerned.

I don't know what Nets fans were expecting really. It strikes me as funny that they would be upset over a losing season. I mean look at your roster. Even if you don't trade Carter and Anderson you don't have a prayer of making the playoffs. If you're going to lose anyway, might as well lose big and pick up a star-caliber player in the draft. The team is clearly geared toward the future, so expecting anything to be done to make them marginally better in the present is foolish.

Also, Anderson is not much more than a role player at best. His #s with the Magic are very misleading. Not tough to drop 15 when you're a) playing awful teams, and b) are about the 4th option on offense and can pretty much just camp out and jack up 7 3s a game. Color me unimpressed.

My point exactly. I'm fine with a losing season. I am NOT fine with the stupid promotions and the 0-10 record. Also, if the Nets have all this money, why wouldn't you want to win in an attempt to LURE potential FA? No one is going to want to play for New Jersey if they continue to look like this.

Also, what prize do they possibly win in the 2010 draft? John Wall? Devin Harris is already their point guard.

lol, I already explained why he'd come here. The Nets this year unfortunately have had a rash of injuries and games where they only suited up 8 players like Alston, Simmons, Hassell, and Boone. They are missing 3 to 4 guys out of their projected starting lineup as well.

Sean Williams will NEVER get playing time under Coach Frank...Frank has a "unique" defensive system that Sean Williams seemingly doesn't get. Frank needs to go seriously. Williams would be a monster if he was on another team.
