I'll be here all week. Please tip your waitress.
Seriously, Spags sucks. His list of offenses:
-Carrying 4 WR's on the final roster. Laurent Robinson gets hurt today, then Donnie Avery goes down, and the already yardage challenged Rams offense has to make up two scores with two WR's...the immortal Keenen Burton, and a white guy they signed 4 days ago to return kicks.
-Carrying 2 healthy RB's on the final roster. Samkon Gado is banged up, so it's Kenneth Darby and...no one else...backing up Steven Jackson.
-An offense supposedly built around a power running game used a double TE set for exactly 2 plays last week vs. the Redskins.
-The Rams never blitz. Never. Spags still thinks he has Strahan, Tuck, Osi, and Kiwanuka up front. The Rams recorded their first sack 6 quarters into the season, and have 3 all year. The secondary is very good and plays hard, but opposing WR's have (literally) all day to come back to the ball and get open.
-Spags traded Brian Leonard for a scrub DT, who he then traded for Ronald Curry. Fine, we needed a veteran WR. But then he cuts Curry, so the Rams essentially traded Leonard, who is playing very well in Cincy, for absolutely nothing.
-Meanwhile, Spags pushed to sign Mike Karney, who was supposed to lead Steven Jackson to the Pro Bowl, yet the guy hardly ever plays.
-Spags cut Pisa Tinoisamoa (Rams leading tackler over the last 5 years) before camp, then cut another veteran, Chris Draft, three days before the season started. Starting in that slot is now David Vobora, Mr. Irrelevent from a few years ago, and his name is fitting. He never makes a play, to the point you forget he's on the team.
-Spags is carrying 13 (!) players on the defensive line. He now has 3 healthy WR's, 2 of which signed earlier this week.
