Just gotta love this game..

So.. with '25' here.. the tradition continues!!!!

Ahhhhh yesssss, another new year of Madden.. & so another version of THE Superdome begins!!
For those that know me know how I do it, & those that don't.. well, I do it like THIS!

THE Supderdome Community or Exhibition 1 on 1 matchups.


1). I RUN AM EXCLUSIVELY!!

2). 7MIN QTR's -w- NO ACC CLOCK.. "SLOW" spd.. & 35% min. Threshold..

The only sliders i've fooled with (so far) is in the "Player Skill" setting bumping the following:

Pass Defense: pass coverage from 50 to 60

& Rush Defense: Tackling from 50-60

3). "ORIGINAL" RULES- in other words, no bullshyt cheezy azz nonsense, no cryin', whinin'
or anything else that is remotely irritating..JUST PLAY THE GAME LIKE A MAN!

4). HOUSE WINS- In other words it's like this, we start a game at the neutral Madden-25 field (outdoors)
..if I win then it's off to the Dome the next time we play, if you win then it's off to your house.... capeche' ??

WHEN I'M ON:

5). GAME TIMES- As it stands right now Sunday is my only day off, BUT, i'm off by noon everyday
(PACIFIC), So my timeframe is from 12-6PM-Pacific// 3-9PM-Eastern.

Sidenote: I'M OUT WEST.. so you guys back East please keep this in mind...

GAMES NO LATER THAN 6PM Pacific// 9PM Eastern!!..(please understand this.)


6). THE LAG ISSUE- OK THEN, TO MAKE THIS CLEAR SO THERE IS NO MISUNDERSTANDING, "IF" THE LAG
IN A GAME IS SO BAD THAT IT'S JUST RUINING ANY CHANCE OF RESPECTABLE PLAYABILITY, THEN EITHER SIDE
HAS THE CHOICE TO QUIT THE GAME BY THE END OF THE 1ST QTR.

THIS GIVES EACH PLAYER THE CHANCE TO BOW OUT GRACEFULLY WITHOUT WASTING TIME IN A POINTLESS GAME.

7). DO NOT EVER QUIT- (If you do we'll never roll again, and nooooo that does not include disconnects,
some things just can't be helped)

So that's really about it.. in other words, all i'm lookin' forward to is good battles vs. good peeps that know their shyt when
it comes down to a battle.. I like to roll it the same way that you'd see it on a Sunday morning/afternoon on the set.

If you can deal, cool, then we gotta game.. if not then don't even bother.

So, on that note, bring that A-game, cuz you know i'm not here to fuck around!

Probably gonna hybird it btwn. the league i'm in (PFL) & the 220.. my guess is they're gonna be really similar.. not sure if 220 runs with or without the acc clock, but I do know for sure that they'll be 7's with no acc, slow speed, @ 35% threshold & of course on AM level.. but as far as the sliders go, maybe you could let me know what the 220's look like and i'll adjust as needed.. Man, this is still soooo new, LOTS to learn bra'.. LoL..

That's what i'm talkin' about Zonk!.. played my 1st online game this evening vs. my main bra' Premo, for which i'll be posting the results tomorrow (just too beat right now).. but i'll be off til' next Tuesday starting tomorrow at about noon!! yeahyeah, and you know i'm gonna be lookin' to run silly.. not sure when you guys in the 220 are startin' up, but the PFL is hit'n it this Saturday, preseason game week #1!!.. rollin' baby.. but we'll definetly be get'n ours in Zonk, no worries there, always great games man.. i'll be peepin' for ya ;-)

GG Premo!!

LoL.. & so it starts ONCE AGAIN!

I'll say this much, we know each other almost too well.. after damn near 15 years of playin' each other the
game starts off in typical cat-n-mouse format.. hard hits and get'n a feel for '25'.. I knew right away it was
gonna be the McFadden vs. Brees show, and after a few exchanged posessions and scores we go into the half
tied at 10.. Nice to see that even on All-Madden level that they toned down the amount of INT's for the D, &
gone are the days of those leaping 20ft. high picks by LB's with their backs to the QB, but still I think the
interceptions I threw were more to my ill advised throws than anything else.. And you know I had to LoL over
the fact that those INT's were to former Saint Tracy Porter.. mf'er!! .. So some good stops and solid gameplay
takes us to 20-13 Raiders at the end of 3.. I knew if you were to score again it'd more than likely be over..
Enter the Jimmy Graham show.. 5 grabs for a buck 48, constantly putting me in the postiion to score.. but
the closer had to have been that Curtis Lofton INT at the sideline, and while hurdling towards the out of
bounds you just haaaaaad to bash him at the sideline busting his thumb, out for the game! mf'er!! LoL.. Then
enter, the Darren Sproles show, ran and caught for my last 2 scores, ballgame.. 27-20 Saints!! And why not give
him Player of the Game.. gotta keep an eye on that guy P, ya never know where he's gonna be.. So again, GG,
and while not perfect, at least we got our feet wet.. And just before I wrote this I went in and setup my depth
chart so there's no more f'n around pre-game.. and too f'n bad that EA hasn't given us the ability to use custom
rosters online yet.. I tell ya.. check ya soon Premo!......... lata'

Night-time Double-Header-



First of all GG's to both Premo for our 2nd game of the day & my longtime rival Helo' and them Titans.. tough
night for the Saints.. & while putting up some nice numbers offensively & even get'n my share of INT's on the
D-Side, for whatever reason I just seemed to have a little bit of trouble forcing passes that I really had no
right throwing, resulting into turnovers.. turnovers cost ballgames, and I lost 2 tonight because of that..
First game was at THE Supedome vs. the Raiders where I just went pick crazy with Brees.. Porter get'n a couple
again (for the 2nd game in a row), and the rest of his DB's just seemed to take whatever they wanted.. but then
again on the Saints side, Jabari Greer managed to swipe 3 away from Pryor & Flynn, and Premo, you better watch
that Pryor, cuz one of these days he's not gonna come back in, he's gonna get that ass busted for good!! (LoL)
So I get down a little at the half, abandon the run game, go gun-sling crazy late in the 3rd and 4th, throw
picks, lose the game... so it's off to OAK-town next time up "P".. & again, GG! Way to bring them Raiders!

Game 2:

Solid ballgame Helo' !!

And yet for the 2nd game in a row, costly mistakes by the Saints once again cost the game.. but this time
around it just seemed that my guys just could not catch the ball for nada!.. I think Helo' could attest to
this (LoL), watching passes sail in and out of the hands of my WR's made for a somewhat of a miserable night,
needless to mention that chasing that C. Johnson all over the field wasn't exactly a treat either!.. He puts
up a buck fifty + .. a majority on a really nice long run that just had me shakin' my head. And speaking of,
it seemed that everytime I get down the field, just killin' the clock, get in the R/Z & then make some bone-
head mistake that either cost me 6 or a quick turnover.. I just gotta get better in the RZ.. Part of it is
just get'n used to new players, new plays, and playin' vs. a tough mf'er that always plays me hard.. So now
it's off to TENN. for them Saints!.. I'll be ready for ya Helo', you know this.. *smile* .. GG!!

"H".. tough tough ballgame man, I just had to LoL at some of them hits, maaaaaaan, and it was cool of you to
twitch the game, that was the 1st time i'd ever seen one of those broadcast deals, not too bad I gotta say..
The game definetly had that "lab" feel to it, but as i'm get'n a lil' more comfy with my D, it's my offense
that i'm having learning curve issues with.. why I ever get rid of Colston in league play i'll never know, he
does nothing but catch the ball, him and Graham for that matter.. but i'm sure as time goes on we'll get it
down, always do!.. It's always a pleasure to play you win or lose.. we'll do it again soon, so when I hit ya
with a request (unless of course your on the orange-clock, I pay attention mf'er) let me know and it's on!

Between me going down early, and then you playing great 2nd half D pretty much showed me

Damn man, that's how games are supposed to be played right there!

No one team putting the other team in a hole and being forced to pass.. just straight trading
of 7's, back and forth.. Something told me that it was gonna come down to who had the ball
last, and with :04 left on the clock that game was yours!!.. I just had a helluva' time figuring
out what you were gonna do next on that last drive.. I was trying to watch Forte' like a hawk,
but knew that Marshall catches everything.. soooooo close to keeping you out of FG range, but it
just wasn't enough.. So again, helluva' game, we'll run it back soon bra'.. thx for the battle!
