EA has released the top 10 overall receivers for Madden '13. The vote on the EA facebook page this week will be for the following attributes - speed, agility, route running and spectacular catch. Interesting that the TE and WR positions have been combined for the purposes of this reveal.

He broke 70 yards three times in his final eight games, once teams realized Newton could throw deep his yards each game were:

33, 41, 68, 32, 125, 82, 9, 86

Roddy White and Nicks are better complete receivers.

That would put him a point behind Foster and tied with LeSean McCoy. A 95 overall for a guy who has been averaging a little more than 70 yards and 8-9 touchdowns the last three seasons in that offense seems more like a 90-91 overall player.

? I'm not even sure what this is. Or how you took this is as my logic.

The makeup of the overall for a particular position isn't the same from position to position. Brady as a 99( I don't' think this is his M13 rating, just an example) isn't equal to him being the best player in the NFL. It's best at his position.
