Kindergarten Cop
Let me preface this by saying I'm sure most people couldn't care less about this and even more people haven't even heard of this on going "beef". Enough people have asked about this, whether here, or on the podcast that I'm no longer a part of, Twitter, PSN/Live etc si I figured I'dput it out there for better or worse. I personally care just slightly because it's obviously always better to have more e-friends than not, but if not than so be it. I would also like to clarify that this is obviously only from MY perspective as I remember things going down. Jay can feel free to post and clarify how he perceived things although I would imagine that would be unlikely.
There's not really much to say but here goes:
I thought Jay and I were pretty tight as far as e-friends go. We would occasionally call and text each other about game stuff, scheduling podcasts or game sessions, etc. We played myriad co-op games and as far as I recall had a blast doing so. He agreed to co-op Saints Row with me after I got the PS3 version even though he had already done everything there is to do in the game. We body slammed zombies together for well over 30 hours in a game that almost everyone here says is the worst game ever made even though they've never played it or played it sparingly (RE6). We survived hallucinations and necromorphs together in Dead Space 3.
We each ribbed and cut on each other a fair amount. There were times where I felt I went over the line and ended up genuinely apologizing. But I honestly think as far as that stuff goes I gave him shit far less than a lot of people here did, Then one day there was some discussion on Twitter. I don't even remember what it was honestly. He said something and had @ mentioned me. What started out as just busting balls started getting a little worse to the point where he started getting pissed about being included in the "conversation". Well, as anyone with a Twitter account knows, if you don't want to be included than you need to stop @ mentioning people manually because by default the people that you don't want to reply to will still be added to the reply. He responded a few times with, and I'm paraphrasing here, "You pee sitting down and your wife makes all the decisions. Eat dicks." and continued to @ mention me. I finally said "Hey dick face, if you don't want to hear what I have to say, stop @ mentioning, or better yet just stop following me." Again, and I will not mention others because this doesn't really involve them, there were several other people involved in that convo that Jay didn't seem to have any issues with for whatever reason. The following day I see that not only has he stopped following me on Twitter (who cares, right?) but he has deleted me from PSN and seems to avoid me here whenever possible. Even though we still met a few times, albeit accidentally, online to play games like Battlefield 3, he woulf flat out ignore. I tried to be cool with him thinking he was just pissed and it would blow over but nope. Then I see that he would go out of his way to post here about gaming get togethers and say "Had a great time playing Battlefield last night with X, Y and Z and purposely not mention me. Ok. So of course I asked wtf his deal was and that just started a series of basically 'fuck you' gifs.
Last night was the first time I ran into him online in a while. I jumped on to play some LoU mp with a mutual e-friend Jon. I join the lobby and see he's there and think 'Oh, here we go again.' I figure I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but he immediately starts with "I don't care, I already have him muted", referring to me. Well, somehow I was the party leader so I promptly booted him from the party to make room for Rylo. Dick move? Yes. But I don't think it was pretty appropriate for the situation.
So that's where we're at, at least from my point of view. I'm sure I've missed some stuff or downplayed some stuff, more likely where I was more of a dick. I know this is some grade A middle school girl bullshit which is why I felt the need to try to be mature and make an attempt at the 'high road' and clear the air a bit.
So, if anyone else that witnessed any of this first hand would like to add their opinion or clarify some of the details, or if Jay himself wants to give his side of the story, so be it.

I'm guessing there is a legitimate reason why but honestly I'm not sure what that was. I'm willing to let bygones be bygones, but if not, oh well.
