Early this morning I went to quick ranked match online and ran into some guy with a record of 650+ wins and 200-220 losses, So I'm thinking this guy must be pretty good this will be a good game. yeah...................
I picked the Cowboys and he picked the Pats. The First drive he scored and took exactly the whole 1st Quarter to do it. I scored and then on his next drive I stopped him, moved down field and went up 14-7 with less than a minute in the half. This bitch used that little modem lag shit and mess up my Kickoff, the ball only went like 20 yards and he got good Field position because of it. He moved downfield and scored because of it.
Then in the 4th I was down and I ran out of shotgun straight up the middle for a 65 yard TD, I went up by 6. He got the ball back but couldn't score, his Offense was so easy to stop, when he passed I spotlighted Welker and user held Moss with my Safeties. When he ran he made it obvious by always motioning a WR for an extra block. He tried this on 4th and inches and I stopped it, that's how I got the ball back.
So I was up by 6 with a little over 2 minutes left in the game, one more score and it's a 2 possession game and it's over. I got to about my 40 and it was 4th and short. From the play called screen I chose a run out of Shotgun but I guess I had called it too many times and someone on his D was able to read the whole play. There was like 5 seconds left for me to audible, so I scanned and saw T.O. in the slot WR position with no man over him so I quick audible and hot routed him on a go. He didn't audible his D in time. Once I called hut his whole inside 8 blitzed and it was an easy TD pass.
So I'm up 13 with like 1:00 minute left and I kick him the ball. On first down he comes out in a FG formation and attempted an 80-yd FG. Of course he missed it and I got the ball back. Once I came out to Kneel the ball he jumped offsides and I sensed something was up so I declined it, The only problem was that I couldn't get the clock to start because he Kept doing this. The 4th time it happened he got "kicked" like any normal player does and I finished the game against the CPU. After the game I checked my career and I didn't get the win, he also didn't receive a loss.
Turns out this bum was ranked #17. I messaged him and we went back and forth and then he invited me to a chat party where he and the #2 ranked player came together to laugh because I didn't get a win. I told them I could care less about the win I just cared that I beat him and it proved that I could hang with anyone in the top 10. They're all glitching free-winning bums
I don't care that I didn't get the win, a win is nothing it's easy for me to get online. I was just pissed that he didn't get a loss, he sucked and didn't deserve to be ranked 17 nor did he earn that huge winning streak he had.
Half of the top ranked guys DC glitch and the other half pays for free wins. What's the point of having a ranking's system? Then the 10 who aren't in either category get easy wins on low ranked people. You can't tell me that EA doesn't know about what the top ranked players are doing.
Talking to that idiot i realized that there really is no point to try and get a good record/rank online in this game with all the cheaters. I know alot of you think that the record is completely pointless but don't get me wrong, if I knew that there was no glitches and that everyone earned there wins/rank the right way then I would actually care about mines.
Now when I play(I rarely will anymore) it's purely to see if I'm better than that person, I no longer care about my record, rank, or losing streak. Since all those things aren't even fun to chase after anymore alot of the fun of madden online is taken out.
It's clear that the developers focus are on a online system that sucks. That leaves us with the franchise mode that sucks, a crappy superstar mode and oh year nothing else.
I won't even bother buying madden again until they've cleared out all these glitches. The same ones that these idiots can't prevent year after year.
It's almost 2009 and there's too many good games with good online play to be wasting my time with this EA madden shit. It's funny how madden was good until they got the exclusive rights......................................
