Top Wildcat teams for Madden '10

Now that the draft is over i want to see who you guys think will be the best Widcat teams for Madden '10. Heres a top 5 list.


1. Raiders - Darren McFadden has elite speed and can throw the ball pretty well. Not to mention Fargas is pretty fast.
2. Dolphins - Pat White is fast and can throw then they still have Ricky and Ronnie.
3. Eagles - They have sooo much speed. Maclin, Jackson, Curtis, Westbrook, Lesean McCoy are all REALLY fast.
4. Vikings - Peterson and Harvin
5. Bears - Devin Hester.


Of course Raiders gotta be the top team. Maybe thats just a little homerism though. :tongue:

If he is allowed to play in the NFL again (which I'm sure he will), then it just depends on what team gives him a shot...granted I'd imagine EA would probably rate him pretty low (and make his speed prob mid-80s).

Don't forget they have HB Michael Robinson who was a QB for Penn State when he was drafted. And now along with Crabtree.

Didn't I read a few posts that said the wildcat isn't even going to be that big of a deal and it won't be a game changer? If it won't be a game changer than why does everyone keep talking about it constantly

Robinson will probably be slow though. I think that would make a huge difference but i wouldn't really know yet.

When you consider they still have the option to give the ball to Gore out of the formation and have Crabtree, Bruce, and Davis catching the ball, yeah.

Well EA never actually posted a blog talking about the Wildcats gameplay, only a sneak peak of it with a couple screenshots. It is being talked about a lot though because it was a sensation last year, and Its new to Madden '10 this year and I am sure many will be eager to use it. Obviously it won't be dominate and easily take over a game, but i am sure you'll be able to hit a big play with it here and there.

They haven't posted a blog so I can't say much, but it works similar to the option pass in NCAA. There are several ways to go with a given play.

I don't see the wildcat being that hard to contain for anybody with decent stick skills.

I agree with alot of this, but I like the Chargers, Cowboys, Eagles, and Dolphins, and 9ers for this.

Chargers have 2 beast runningbacks. You don't need a fast Rivers.
Cowboys have Romo who is fast, and will probably have the best Throwing on the run rating in Madden, along with Barber who is beast plow niqqa move, and Speed demon Felix Jones.
Eagles with McNabb, McCoy, and Westbrook.
9ers cuz they got the best throwing Runningback in the league.
Dolphins cuz they really run that shit, and Pat White pwnage.

Although Harvin and Peterson will be very scary aswell
