Last week, we posted a deal about the Playstation Vita having a Trade 4, get $100 off or get an extra $50 for your console, deal at EB Games/ Gamestop Canada. Well, they have decided to expand on that deal.

Starting now and running until February 25th, you can still trade in 4 games worth $8 (PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, 3DS, PSP, DS) or more, to get $100 off a Playstation Vita. As well, any handheld you trade in (PSP 3000, PSP 2000, PSP 1000, DS Lite, DSi, DSi XL, and 3DS) will automatically have the value doubled. This deal is perfect for anyone looking to get rid of their old handhelds in order to upgrade.

Also, you can now trade in 4 games worth $8 or more to receive $100 off of a 3DS. I know most people aren’t likely to take advantage of this offer, it is still slightly interesting.

That is what they have to do to get the interest up on handhelds now.......it is a shame, but with tablets and then laptops becoming more portable, there isn't much of a need for the traditional "handheld" market anymore.
