Besides Kimbo, who is some favorites to win this? And are any of you excited to see this season?
 
Nelson is the best fighter on the show and shouldnt even be on with this cast, Roy is a very legit HW and not as easy fight for anyone

He will blast or sub anyone on that show IMO, he is 13-4, with KO loss to AA after some questionable stand ups and 3 decision losses to Monson, Rothwell and Curran

I hate to state the obvious, but Kimbo isn't considered a favorite.

Like others have said, Nelson and Sims are legit fighters and should be able to cruise through this group, although I'm not familiar with a few of these names.

Nelson would have to be a heavy favorite.
 
Bas recently told Kimbo he is as asshole and didnt listen to Bas anymore, so Bas booted him a while ago, should be interesting training sessions on the show
 
Kimbo needs to go to Japan and fight Canseco, I would watch

Don't know how he didnt get into the Super Hulk Tourney

oh shit its that Roy Nelson, I thought it was a boxer for some reason. this is looking like the mac danzig season all over again.
 
The only reason I can think of that the UFC has Roy Nelson on the show is that they figure he can actually do well for them, but they want to use the show as an "introduction" for him, so that fans who don't know him will see him as a legit fighter instead of the sloppy mess he looks like.

exactly what I was thinking, they told roy a year ago that he doesnt have the UFC look, so this seems like a way to show people roy has skills and is not a bar room brawler
 
I see Kimbo in the finals just because Dana will make it happen with the semi-final pairings. Kimbo may not be the most skilled guy, but he does have the natural talent to bring him that far. Either way, he'll lose in the finals.

A pretty reliable source told me today that Kimbo is out of the house already, presumably because he lost a fight. I didn't even realise they were filming yet, so if it was due to losing, the opposing coach went right after his ass the first chance they had.

If it's legit, I bet Zuffa edits his fight to air last, to milk him for at least the first 8 weeks.

Do they have enough film of him to push it for 8 weeks? If he is out of the house that means they only got like 2-3 weeks of film

yeah, I heard that to but I didnt want to be that guy like you just were

not sure if its truth though, they even gave Kimbo a spot onthe commercial for the new season with the coaches, could be though, highly likely

Kimbo has to have a deal to get a UFC fight no matter what, no other reason to even be on the show for him

Thought the speculation would be fun. Didn't want to be the "no link" guy, but figured i've been around long enough where you fools know I wouldnt start random rumors just to put myself over.
